Criteria for AEEE 2018 Eligibility:

  • Candidates must be born on or after 1 July 1995, to take up AEEE.
  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board.
  • They must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
  • Candidates with a minimum of 60% in a diploma course in engineering awarded by any State Board f Technical Education are also eligible.

Can a candidate who has scored a high mark in other state or entrance exam can get through AEEE?

The candidate who is interested has to apply for AEEE. Only the score in the exam conducted by Amrita University is to be accepted. No other entrance or state exam scores will be accepted.

What is the eligibility criteria for AEEE?

The candidate eligible for admission in AEEE should be born on or after 1st July, 1995. All the candidates should pass Higher Secondary exam or any equivalent exam from a recognised board. The minimum percentage of 60% should have been scored by the candidate with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

For all the candidates with a Diploma course should have a minimum of 60% from any State Board Technical Education.

If a candidate has an average of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics but less than 55% marks in any of the subjects, is the candidate eligible for counselling?

  • No, the candidate is not eligible for counselling if the candidate has not scored more than 55% marks in each of the subjects: Physics, Chemistry and mathematics.
