  • Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada(JNTUK) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). 
  • AP EAMCET 2018 is compulsory for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The AP EAMCET is a national level examination, with admission for the candidates who have cleared the AP EAMCET only in Andhra Pradesh. The AP EAMCET is offered in Telegu, English, and Urdu.
  • The AP EAMCET 2018  is offered in Telegu, English, and Urdu. The AP EAMCET 2018  is conducted for entrance into Engineering, Medical, and Agricultural courses. The AP EAMCET examination is managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad. There are 16 participating colleges and eligible candidates can apply for the exam by filling the Application Form.
  • Application form for AP EAMCET 2018 will be available from February 2018 onwards for the eligible candidates. 
  • There are two papers. Paper I is for Engineering and Paper II Agriculture Stream.The exam is an MCQ based exam.Paper can be attempted in two languages - English or Telugu depending on candidate's convenience. There is no negative mark.
  • The syllabus provides engineering and architecture aspirants with a topic-wise breakup of each section - Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and Biological Science. The syllabus consists of topics from the 10+2 level examinations.
  • Based on last year's database, there is the total of 1,53,150 seats available totally.

AP- EAMCET is called as Andra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test, it is an entrance examination required to get an admission in some engineering and medical colleges in the states of Andra Pradesh and Telangana.

 AP EAMCET Reservation Criteria :

  • AP EAMCET 2018 makes sure that a certain amount of seats are reserved for the candidates who belong to the underprivileged section.
  • The candidates who belong to  SC, ST, PWD, etc. will be provided relaxation as per the government regulations.
  • Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) division will be provided a reservation of 6% in the non-minority institutes.
  • Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) will be provided a reservation of 15% in professional unaided non-minority institutes.
  • Candidates who belong to the Other Backward Class (OBC) will be provided reservation of 25%.
  • Candidates who belong to the Physically Handicapped (PH) category with hearing, visual and orthopedic disabilities will be provided a 3% reservation in ST, SC and OBC categories.
  • The AP EAMCET reservation of seats of 2% is applicable for the candidates whose parent will be working under BSF, CRPF and staying in Andhra Pradesh at least from last 5 years or is an Ex-servicemen.
  • NCC candidates are eligible for 1% seat reservation in AP EAMCET.
  • Candidates are eligible to get a reservation of 0.5% in sports quota under games category.
  • Female candidates from any of the category or section will be provided the reservation of 33%.

Reservation:

 

  • 1/3rd of the seats from each category and course are reserved for women. (Category includes : OC/ SC/ ST/ BC/ CAP/ NCC/ SP/ PH).
  • This reservation shall not be applicable if women candidates are selected on merit in each category.

The AP EAMCET Exam conducted in the year 2017 had 198064 and 80735 students who registered for the exam in Engineering and Agriculture respectively, out of which 187484 and 75489 students appeared for the exam in Engineering and Agriculture respectively and 123974 and 55288 students qualified for the exam in Engineering and Agriculture respectively. The pass percentage for Engineering and Agriculture was 78.74% and 85.28% respectively.

AP EAMCET 2018 Important Dates

  • Registration for AP EAMCET commences in the month of February 2018.
    The AP EAMCET application forms can be corrected latest by April 2018 and the forms must be submitted by May 2018.

  • The AP EAMCET admit card will be made available in the month of May 2018 and the AP EAMCET exam will also be held in the month of May 2018.
    However, the AP EAMCET results will be out in the month of June 2018.
  • The Counselling Process for AP EAMCET will also take place in the month of June 2018.

AP EAMCET 2018 Eligibility

  • Candidates are requested to follow the obligatory norms before applying for the exam and they should also check whether they fall under the pre-set terms and conditions.
  • Eligibility criteria for B.Tech, Pharmacy and B.Sc: Candidates should be either Indian Citizens, Persons of Indian Origin or NRIs. They should satisfy all the local and non-local status requirements laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions.
    Candidates must have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the subjects. The General category students should secure a minimum of 45% in 12th for PCB/PCM and for SC candidates it is 40%.
    The applicants should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December for Engineering. Whereas, for B.Tech in Dairy Technology/Ag.Engineering/FST/CA & BM, the minimum age requirement is 17 years and the maximum age requirement is 22 years. For SC/ST the upper age limit is 25 years.

 

  • Eligibility criteria for BAMS/BHMS/BNYS: Candidates should have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology and English as their subjects.
    The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year. There is no upper age limit.

 

  • Eligibility criteria for MBBS/BDS: Candidates should have cleared 12th standard examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as their core subjects.

AP EAMCET 2018 Application Process

  • Candidates must visit the Official Website of AP EAMCET and fill in the Application Form. The AP EAMCET Application Form Fees can be paid online using AP online/TS online/debit card. A scanned photograph and signature must be uploaded.
    The applicants must print the application form.

  • The documents required for the application process are caste certificate for SC/ST/BC category, PH/NCC/Sports Certificates, Income certificate and Resident/Study certificate.

AP EAMCET 2018 Application Form Details

  • The AP EAMCET application process will commence in the month of February 2018 and it will end in April 2018.
  • The Application Form fee for candidates appearing for AP EAMCET 2018 Engineering exam is Rs. 450.
    For Agriculture exam, it is Rs. 450.
    Candidates appearing for both streams must pay Rs.700 as the Application Form fee.
  • The Application Form fee must be paid online through AP state/TS state/Credit/Debit card.

AP EAMCET 2018 Admit Card

  • Candidates must carry the AP EAMCET admit card to the exam center, failing which they will not be allowed to write the exam. Discrepancies if any in the admit card must be reported to the concerned authority.
    A recent colored passport size photo must be pasted on the admit card and it should be handed over to the invigilator which will be checked at the exam center.
  • The AP EAMCET admit card will contain details like name and address of the candidate, category, photo and signature of the candidate, date and time of exam and venue of exam.
  • The AP EAMCET admit card must be downloaded from the official website by clicking on the admit card link. The required details must be filled in and the admit card will appear on the screen which must be printed.
  • The admit card must not be tampered with, as it will lead to disqualification of the candidate. Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to get the admit card.

AP EAMCET 2018 Exam Pattern

  • The AP EAMCET exam consists of 2 papers.
    Paper 1 is for Engineering and Paper 2 is for Agriculture and Medicine
  • Paper 1 consists of 3 parts i.e: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
    Physics and Chemistry will consist of 40 questions each. Mathematics will consist of 80 questions.
  • Paper 2 consists of 4 parts i.e: Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry.
    Each part consists of 40 questions.
  • The exam is MCQ based and every correct answer will fetch the candidate 1 mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • The question paper will be available in 2 languages. i.e: Telugu and English.

AP EAMCET 2018 Syllabus

The Syllabus to AP EAMCET is basically your 12th standard portion.

Aspiring individuals 

  • Chemistry: Stoichiometry, Solutions, Electro Chemistry etc.
  • Physics: Gravitation, Physics world, Elasticity etc.
  • Mathematics: Algebra, Probability, Calculus etc.

AP EAMCET 2018 Results

  • The AP EAMCET results will be out in the last week of May or first week of June.
    • Candidates must check the Official Website of AP EAMCET. 
  • The AP EAMCET Admit Card number must be entered and the results will appear on the screen.
  • Students must download the admit card for the admission process.

AP EAMCET 2018 Counselling

Students who qualify the AP EAMCET exam will be eligible for counseling.

  • Candidates must register for document verification through the AP EAMCET helpline.
  • The details in the registration form must be verified. Students must select the course and college and arrange it in the order of preference.
  • They will be notified about seat allotment and other information like fees, reporting at college etc.
  • Students must carry all their important documents for the Counselling Process.
  • Documents like their rank card, admit card, income certificate etc must be produced during the AP EAMCET counseling process.

  • One can study Bachelors in RVRJCCE by writing the entrance exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Govt i.e AP EAMCET
  • During my period of study, RVRJCCE was affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University(one of the well-known universities in A.P). Now RVRJCCE has acquired the status of being Autonomous which means it is no more linked to ANU and it functions entirely on its own.
  • For acquiring Bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering the cutoff rank for GENERAL Category is around 12000.
  • Batch intake is around 180 students per year for EEE.

No corrections will be allowed to be made on the AP EAMCET Application Form.

The candidates will be provided with a window to verify all the details entered on your AP EAMCET Application Form before the final submission.

No further correction requests will be entertained by the AP EAMCET Board.

Candidates can enter a fresh Application Form request to AP EAMCET as per their desire.

I'm really sorry to inform you this, but AP EAMCET Board will not be providing any refunds to the Application Form Fees already paid and processed.

If you wish to apply to AP ECET, we suggest you give in a fresh Application Form by paying a separate AP ICET Application Form Fees.

Unfortunately, NEET has replaced all other Medical Entrance Exams in India and there will be no provision for getting an admission in MBBS through AP EAMCET anymore.
