Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET 2018:

  • There are pre-announced eligibility criteria set by the University.
  • These are obligatory norms which the aspirants must follow before filling the application form for AP EAMCET 2018 .
  • If candidates eligibility does not fall under the pre-set terms and conditions for eligibility for AP EAMCET 2018 examination, their Application Form for AP EAMCET examination will be rejected.
  • The candidates are requested to go through the Eligibility Criteria carefully before applying for AP EAMCET 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for AP EAMCET 2018:

For B.Tech and B.Sc:

  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh to satisfy the Eligibility Criteria.
  • Candidates should satisfy local and non–local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Candidate must have cleared or appeared for Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised Board to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates must have pursued Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Candidate must have cleared or appeared for Diploma Engineering Examinations to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • General and OBC candidates for AP EAMCET in AP must secure 45% in their 12th examination for PCM to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • SC candidates for AP EAMCET in AP must secure 40% in their 12th examination for PCM to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • In the case of Engineering, candidates must have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission with no upper age limit to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • In the case of B. Tech (Dairy Technology), B. Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B. Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years for General and OBC candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of Admission to satisfy eligibility criteria.

For BAMS/BHMS/BNYS Courses:

  • Candidates must have cleared or appeared for Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised Board to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates must have pursued Physics, Chemistry and Biotechnology and English to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates must have completed 17 years of age, on 31st December of the year of admission with no upper age limit to satisfy eligibility criteria.
