Eligibility Criteria for APICET 2018:

Satisfying the following APICET eligibility criteria is mandatory

To be eligible to appear for APICET, 

  • The candidate must be an Indian Nationals.
  • He/she must satisfy local / non-local status requirements laid down in the Andra Pradesh State Educational Institutions.
  • The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the eligibility criteria of the Universities concerned.
  • If the qualifying Degree is obtained in a Distance Mode Program, then it must be recognized by the joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC.
  • Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply provided their results will be announced before the counseling process.
  • Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
  • Qualifying marks in APICET - 2018 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates

The candidates seeking for admission:

For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC, ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by APICET

For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC, ST reserved categories) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics or one of the subjects at 10+2 level to be eligible to write APICET.


 Qualification for APICET 2018:

Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to be eligible to get into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:

  • Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned.
  • Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for part- time\evening\distance mode).
  • Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.
