Overview of BEEE 2018:

BEEE 2018 is a University level entrance exam conducted by Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Bharath University, in Chennai.

The students who clear the entrance exam will be eligible to get admissions in different professional degree courses such as B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Tech Lateral, and M.Tech. The exam is conducted both in offline (written) and online modes.

Bharath University is one of the popular universities of Tamil Nadu and was founded in 1984 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Every year thousands of students opt for different courses in the University through BEEE exam.

BEEE 2018 Eligibility

The following are the eligibility criteria for BEE Exam 2018:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India to satisfy the BEEE eligibility criteria.
  • For admissions to B.Tech, the applicant must have cleared Class XII or any equivalent exam from any recognized Board or University having PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) as subjects with a minimum of 50 per cent marks to satisfy the BEEE eligibility criteria.
  • For admissions to M.Tech, the applicant must have cleared B.Tech with a minimum of 50 per cent marks to satisfy the eligibility criteria conditions.
  • To apply for lateral entry, the candidate must have completed Diploma or B.Sc in any science stream as per the BEEE eligibility criteria requirements.
  • For admissions to MBA, the applicant must be a graduate in any discipline to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • For admissions to M.Sc, the applicant must have completed B.Sc to satisfy the BEEE eligibility criteria.

BEEE 2018 Application Process

Candidates can apply for BEEE online or offline.

Steps to apply for BEEE in online mode:

  • Enter personal details such as name, age, email ID, mobile number, etc. at the time of registration.
  • After successful registration, the candidate will receive the login details such as username and password on their registered mobile numbers and email IDs.
  • The candidate is now ready to fill up the BEEE application form. Enter all the necessary details in the form to apply for the exam.
  • At the time of submission, candidates are required to make the payment of application fee online by using a debit card, credit card or net banking.
  • The BEEE Application fee is  Rs. 900/-
  • The candidates can submit the BEEE application form after verifying the filled details and then save the application for future reference.

Steps to apply for BEEE in offline mode:

  • To apply for BEEE 2018 written exam, candidates must get the application form from Bharath University, Chennai.
  • The candidate will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 950/-.  
  • The candidate must make the payment of the BEEE application fee in favor of Bharath University payable at Chennai.
  • The candidate will have to fill all the details as asked in the BEEE application form and submit it to the correct address as specified in the brochure.

BEEE 2018 Application Form Details

The BEEE application form will be issued in the month of December.

The department of examination has made the availability of BEEE application form in both online and offline modes for the convenience of the aspiring students.

The students willing to apply for BEEE-2018 through online mode can avail the forms by visiting the official website of Bharath University and register there to create a new account which is integral for all further application process.

The last date is to apply for BEEE is in the month of April 2018. Candidates should remember to register for BEEE exam before the last date of registration.

BEEE 2018 Admit Card

Candidates who applied for BEEE exam can download their Admit Card from the official website of BEEE exam.

The Admit Card will be released three weeks before the BEEE exam.

Steps to get the Admit Card for BEEE Exam:

  • Go to the official website for BEEE.
  • Click on the link provided to download the admit card.
  • Fill in your ID and password on the page that opens.
  • Click on submit to view the admit card.
  • Download and print the admit card.

The candidate will have to carry PAN card or Aadhar card or any such relevant identity proof along with the BEEE admit card to the exam hall.

It is advised to all candidates that they check all the details mentioned on the BEEE admit card. Any discrepancies in the BEEE admit card details should be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities immediately.

The BEEE admit card should be kept with the candidate till the admission process gets over for verification process.

BEEE 2018 Exam Pattern

The BEEE Exam paper consists of 100 multiple choice questions where each question carries one mark. BEEE Exam is conducted in both online and offline mode.

BEE Exam paper has four parts.

  • English - 10 Questions (10 Marks)
  • Physics - 30 Questions (30 Marks)
  • Chemistry - 30 Questions (30 Marks)
  • Mathematics - 30 Questions (30 Marks)

BEEE Exam does not have any negative marking.

BEEE 2018 Syllabus

BEEE 2018 Results

The Results for BEEE Exam will be declared in the month of June. Candidates can check the results on the official website of BEEE Exam.

The following are the steps to check the results for BEEE Exam:

  • Candidates should visit the official website of BEEE.
  • Click on the BEEE results tab.
  • Enter the required details.
  • The BEEE results will be displayed on the screen.
  • Print the BEEE results for future reference.

BEEE Exam results will reveal whether the student has got admission to the university or not.

If the student does not meet the cutoff list declaration, the student will not be eligible for future admission process

BEEE 2018 Counselling

  • The counselling process for admission to various engineering undergraduate courses will get started after the results get announced.
  • Counselling process will commence from July 2019. Candidates eligible to get admission will be called for the counselling process.
  • Candidates are eligible for counselling process only if their names appear in the merit list. Seats will be allotted to candidates based on the ranks they obtain in the BEEE 2018 exam.
  • In order to get admissions to different courses offered by the university, the candidate must compulsorily attend the counselling process. The counselling schedule relating to BEEE 2018 will be updated on the official website after the declaration of the result.
