Overview for GCET 2018:

Goa Entrance Test or GCET is a national level entrance examination that is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa.  The examinations are conducted for admission to undergraduate programmes.

This national level GCET examination is offline based and only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can apply for the examination. The Institute provides admission to courses in engineering, medicine, allied health sciences, nursing and Ayurveda.  The GCET examination is conducted in May and there are around 1300 seats all across Goa.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:
  • I gave about entrance exam. I qualified the minimum cutoff and finally got GCET in my first counselling . The admission cell was very helping and supporting. Though I was alone they supported me. The college is very strict about the rules made UPTU.

Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is a must to get into any of the colleges affiliated to Goa University. The cutoff's for Medical is comparitively high as compared to engineering courses.
