Eligibility Criteria for IMU CET 2018

Candidates who are applying for IMU CET 2018 should fit into all the eligibility criteria set by the exam council. Candidates will not be allowed if they do not satisfy all the eligibility criteria.

The eligibility criteria for IMU CET 2018 is as follows:

  • Married candidates are not eligible to appear for the IMU CET exam.
  • Prior to taking admission to any of the courses, the candidates are advised to apply for a passport.
  • There is an age relaxation of 5 years for reserved candidates.
  • Medical fitness certificate from any of the doctors approved by the Director General of Shipping must be provided by those candidates who are looking for admission in any of the marine courses to satisfy the eligibility criteria for IMU CET.

 

Courses

Eligibility Criteria 

B.Sc

Pass H.S.C or equivalent examination (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM): 60% & English: 50%) to satisfy the eligibility criteria for IMU CET. 5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST Candidate.

B.Tech

Pass H.S.C or equivalent examination (PCM: 60% & English: 50%) to satisfy the eligibility criteria for IMU CET. 5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST Candidate.

B.Tech Lateral Entry

Pass Diploma in Engineering OR Pass H.S.C or equivalent examination (PCM: 60% & English: 50%) to satisfy the eligibility criteria for IMU CET.

5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST Candidate.

MBA

Bachelor Degree with 50% minimum marks. 50% marks in English Subject in Class 10th/12th/ UG Degree to satisfy the eligibility criteria for IMU CET.

5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST Candidate.

M.Tech

Graduation or Equivalent with 60% aggregate marks to satisfy the eligibility criteria for IMU CET. 5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST Candidate.

 


Age Limit for IMU CET:


The candidates must fall with the age of 17 years to 25 years on or before 1st August 2018.
