Application Process for JEE Advanced 2018:

The availability of Application Form begins from the 28th of April 2018, you can log in to the Official Website and click on “Apply online”.
The process of Application will begin from the 28th of April 2018 to the 2nd of May 2018.


The Registration Process for JEE Advanced 2018:

The steps given below need to be followed to complete the registration process for JEE Advanced:

  • Visit the Official Website for JEE Advanced and fill in your personal, academic and communication details.
  • Choose your preferred JEE Advanced Exam Centre.
  • Choose your question paper medium and complete details about your family background.
  • Check the information you entered once again and then click the Final Submit button.
  • Uploading of images which include thumb impression, signature and photograph.
  • Click on the "Upload Photograph" button and browse your computer to upload the photograph.
  • The photograph must be in JPEG format, should not be larger than 100 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
  • Click on the blank area to upload signature and browse your computer.
  • The signature should be in JPEG format, the file size should not be larger than 30 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
  • Click on the blank area to upload the left-hand thumb impression.
  • The thumb impression should be in JPEG format, its size should not be larger than 30 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
  • Payment of the fees.
  • Choose your mode of payment among Debit Card/ Credit Card or through e-challan.
  • The application fees are based on the exam centre and according to the mode you choose.
  • Click on ‘Pay Now’.
  • Note the transaction number and take multiple copies of the confirmation page.

Note: The application fees can be calculated here:http://jeemain.nic.in/jeemainapp/root/loginpage.aspx.

If the applicant submits the application for JEE Advanced after the due date, Late fees of Rs 500 has to be paid along with the normal fees (for students writing the exam in India) and USD 80 (for the students writing the exam out of India).

What documents will one need to upload during the online application process of JEE Advanced exam?

  • At the time of registration, you will need to upload the following documents: -
    a) Class X mark sheet with date of birth on it. In case, it is not mentioned, you will need to upload your DoB certificate instead.
    b) Class XII mark sheet (for students who appeared for the exam in the previous year).
    c) Caste, Category and/ or PWD certificate, as applicable. Make sure that they are in the prescribed formats (available in the Information Brochure of the exam and can be downloaded from the official exam website).
    d) Scribe form (for blind candidates only) in the prescribed format.
    Candidates are advised to keep scanned copies of these documents ready before beginning their application submission process.
