Counselling process for JEE Advanced 2018:

The successful candidates will have to take part in the JEE Advanced Counselling process which will begin from 22nd June 2018.

Only eligible candidates who make it to the JEE Advanced 2018 Merit List are eligible to participate in JEE Advanced counselling (JoSSA Counselling).

Counselling Stages:

There will be six rounds of counselling in total.

They are:

  • Registering for JEE Advanced Counselling
  • Filling up choices and locking them
  • Seat Allotment
  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges
  • Provisional Admission of Students

Additional information about counselling will be available on the Official Website to JEE Advanced.


 The documents to be submitted in JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling:

  • Print out of course allotment letter
  • Admit Card of JEE Advanced 2018
  • Medical Certificate
  • Print out of Application Form
  • Certificates of class X and XII
  • Certificate of Birth
  • Certificate of Category (SC/ST/PWD/OBC)
  • Attested copy of Passport or any other equivalent Identity Proof
  • DD of Rs. 60,000
  • For SC/ST DD is to be made of Rs. 20,000
