Application Process For KCET 2018

The filing of the KCET 2018 Exam form begins from 8th January 2018. Eligible candidates can log in to the official website of Karnataka Examinations Authority and click on "CET - 2018 UG ONLINE APPLICATION”.  The process of KCET 2018 Exam application will begin from 8th January 2018.


The Registration Process of KCET 2018 Exam Involves:

  • Visit the official KCET 2018 website and fill in your personal, academic and communication details.
  • Choose your preferred exam center for the KCET 2018 Exam.
  • Create a unique password and a security question to secure the password for KCET 2018 admit card and results.
  • Check the information you entered once again and then click the Final Submit button.
  • Uploading of images which include thumb impression, signature and photograph
  • Click on the upload photograph and browse your computer to upload a photograph. The photograph must be in JPG/JPEG format, should not be larger than 40 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
  • Click on the blank area to upload signature and browse your computer. The signature should be in JPG/JPEG format, the file size should not be larger than 40 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
  • Click on the blank area to upload the left hand thumb impression. The thumb impression should be in JPEG format, its size should not be larger than 40 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
  • Payment of the fees.
  • The fees for KCET 2018 Exam can be paid through demand draft. The Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of "Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority", payable at Bangalore.
  • Or through a bank challan at any of the branches of State Bank of Mysore, Syndicate Bank, Indian Bank, Central Bank of India, Axis Bank, or e-post office.

 Important Notes:

  • There are reservations for NCC, Sports, Scouts and Guides and Defence Special Category provided for KCET 2018.

The application form is available on the official site of KEA (also available here). Candidates can fill and submit the KCET Application Form via online process through the official website of the authority. There is no offline mode is available for entertaining the application form. The application form has been released from the 27th January 2017, (4:00 PM). Candidates are required to upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, left thumb impression & parent signature in prescribed format.

You can go to the institution where you have studied & passed and pay a DD of Rs. 650/‐ to get the application.

                                                                             OR

You can obtain the application directly by sending a DD for Rs. 750/‐ with a self addressed envelope to the KEA office.
