About LEET 2018:

LEET is a state-level examination, the Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test is conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society every year for students seeking admission into the B.E/B.Tech courses in the 2nd year across colleges in the state.

The colleges are government entities or privately-owned across the state of Haryana. The exam will be held annually in the month of May 2018. The eligible candidate can fill the application form till the last week of April 2018. The results will be declared in the last week of May 2018.

The entrance exam is popularly referred to as LEET. It offers opportunities for qualified candidates to study technology courses ranging from engineering to even architecture. It is a much popular examination and sees a large number of exam takers each year.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:
  • The eligibility criteria for MCA are any BSc degree holder having mathematics in 12th can do MCA(3 years) and for MCA (LEET)  only BCA students can take admission on MCA LEET.
  • There are no specific entrance examinations for getting into Chandigarh University. Direct admission procedure is also there.
  • The typical cutoff is 75%.

  • Since I have a diploma in computer science I took direct admission in the 2nd year in Delhi Technical Campus.
  • I didn't take any entrance test. I didn't know about LEET either, having heard of it earlier would have taken a chance to get into goverment college.
  • The eligibility for me was minimum 60% overall.

  • The eligibility for a BTech student in the Northern India Engineering College, [NIEC] New Delhi is the 12th pass or either a Diploma holder.
  • For Admission procedure in the Northern India Engineering College, [NIEC], student has to give Entrance Test and then based on his rank college is being alloted.
  • I took LEET for Btech Admission in Northern India Engineering College, [NIEC].
