The Application Process for MHT CET 2018

Candidates interested in applying for the MHT CET 2018 exam for admission to the course will have to access the application form online on the Official Website.

  • The application form will be available on the Official Website.
  • Click on New Registration.
  • For online registration, the candidate must provide a valid email address and contact number so that passwords and login details might be communicated on a timely basis.

  • Herein, you will have to enter all personal details Such as Candidate names, Father's name, Mother's name, Date of Birth, Last name, gender, Address, State, District, Pincode contact details such as Email ID, Mobile Number. A security question too has to be chosen.
  • Click on 'Save and Proceed' to open the page for Educational details.
    The password must be 8-13 character long with at least one character of the upper case, lower case, alphanumeric and special characters.

  • The candidates will have to specify his/her qualifications and the last qualifying examination.
  • Candidate needs to select one of the two ''In Maharashtra/Outside Maharashtra'' of SSC EXAM to ensure that he/she is passed in. The candidate has to specify his/her Marks and Percentage along with Total marks. Candidate also has to mention HSC Institute's Name and Address he/she studied
  • After mentioning all academic details proceed to upload a latest scanned photograph of maximum 100 KB size.
  • A digital signature has to be uploaded as well, provided it is less than 30 KB in size.
  • Preview all images, save it and click on Continue. If not then reload Images

  • Move onto make the payment for the MHT CET Application Form.
  • Candidate can make the payment through online and offline mode
  • For online payment, candidate can use Debit card, Credit card, Net Banking, e-wallet etc
  • For offline payment, the candidate needs to download the SBI Bank Challan, print it on A4 size paper. Challan will contain Registration number, Candidates name, Address, Phone number and Registration Date. The candidate has to carry this MHT CET Bank Challan to any nearest SBI Branch for the payment. He/she should make the payment of fees after 48 hours of Registration
  • Once the candidate does successful payment of fees, the application process is completed
  • Take out the print of application form and save it for future use

Uploading Photograph and Signature to the Application Form:

For Uploading photograph

  • Take your recent colour passport size photograph. The picture should be taken against a light/white background.
    In case the face in the photograph is not clear, your application is liable to be rejected.
    Candidate should upload such scanned/digital photograph.
  • The file size of the Photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB otherwise, it will not be allowed by the System to upload.
  • To reduce the size, crop the image of the passport size photograph in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor.
  • Please ensure that only the full face portion is cropped and not the entire photograph.

For Uploading Signature

  • The candidate himself/herself should sign (no capital letters) on a white paper with a black ink pen.
  • Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings and the file size should be between 5 KB to 20 KB in .jpg format.
  • To reduce the size, crop the image of the signature in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor.
    Please ensure that only the signature portion is cropped and not the entire A4 paper on which you have signed.

Once photograph and signature files are uploaded by the candidate successfully, the system will show on the screen Photograph and Signature that has been uploaded. If these have been correctly uploaded, you should now proceed further to make the online payment.

Writer/Scribe for a Person with Disability (PWD):

  • The eligible (Person having not less than 40% disability) Orthopedically Handicapped who are not in a position to write, Blind, Low Vision, persons affected with Cerebral Palsy and Learning Disability/ Dyslexia can avail a scribe/writer for the MHT CET 2018 Examination.
  • The scribe/ writer shall be arranged by the candidate at the discretion of the candidate at their own cost. The Competent Authority shall not provide scribe/ writer to the candidate.
  • The candidate who wants to avail scribe/writer has to indicate willingness at the time of online submission of Application Form to MHT CET.
  • The candidate has to fill the declaration form for scribe/writer in the prescribed format. The format can be downloaded from the online system.
  • Paste photographs of the candidate and the scribe/writer and put signatures and submit this declaration form before reporting to the examination hall on the examination day to the Sub­Center In-charge.
  • The candidate shall produce the disability certificate in original along with Admit Card to the Sub-Center In-charge at the time of examination.
  • The candidate availing the facility of scribe/writer shall be given a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination.
    (30 minutes compensatory time for the one and half hour duration paper)
  • Low Vision, persons affected with Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disability/Dyslexia candidate shall be given a compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination even if not availing the facility of scribe/writer.
    Such candidates should have declared Low Vision while filling the online application form.

Under unavoidable circumstances, the scribe/writer can be changed with the permission of the Sub-Center In-charge of the examination centre allotted to the candidate.

The candidates interested for MHT CET can fill the form online. If any change is required to be made on the MHT CET Application Form, the candidate can make it through the following:

  • The candidate will be asked to verify the data entered on your MHT CET Application Form after you click "NEXT" on the Registration Page.
  • The candidate can view the complete data and can make any changes.
  • To rectify, the candidate has to click on "Back" button on the screen to make changes.
  • Once you have submitted the data online, you may choose to "Edit" the information.
  • If you find that the data correct by all means, click "Upload Photograph & Signature".
  • Once you have submitted the data, "Edit Profile" link will appear after you login to the website using your unique application no. and password. 
  • Please note that no change in the three name fields (Candidate's First Name, Father's / Husband's First Name, Last Name), Date of Birth, Email and Mobile No is possible.

What is the bank charges which is to be paid along with the application fee?

The candidate is supposed to pay bank charges of Rs.60 along with the application fee.

The application fee is Rs. 800/- for general candidates and Rs. 600/- for reserved categories.

The last day for payment of application fee through offline mode is March 28th, 2017.

The application fee for General Category and Foreign Nationals is Rs. 800.

The application fee for Reserved Category is Rs. 600.

Are candidates allowed to edit data filled online in the MHT CET application form?

The candidate is allowed to edit the application form while registering online.

If the data is correct, candidates are requested to click on “Upload Photograph & Signature”.

However, after submission of form online, the Candidates name and father/husband's name cannot be edited.

What is the MHT CET eligibility criteria for Health Sciences?

The MHT CET 2017 eligibility criteria for Health Sciences is given below:

  • The candidate must have been born on or before 31 December 2000.
  • For Ayurvedic and Unani medicine course, this date must be on or before 1 October 2000.
  • The candidates must have a certificate of medical fitness to be eligible.
  • The candidate must have passed the 10th Board exam from a school under the Maharashtra State Board to be eligible.
  • The candidate must have passed the 12th Board exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects to be eligible.

  • The application fees for the MHT CET examination is  INR 800 (+ 60 INR for bank commission) for General, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries and Outside Maharashtra Resident candidates.
  • The application fees for the MHCET examination is  INR 600 for reserved quota candidates.
  • The payment can be made via debit or credit card or via net banking.
  • Payment can be made via a challan payable via cash at a State Bank of India branch.

What do I do if I’ve forgotten the password set during the registration process?

You cannot retrieve the forgotten password. But, it is possible to create a new one by clicking the “Forgot password” link. The candidate is required to enter details like MHT CET Application No., Date of Birth and Mother's First Name as filled at the time of registration.
The data provided by the candidate will be validated with the information available in the candidate's registered database. And if both the data match, then the system will provide you with a link to create the new password.

Do I require any documents to get registered Online?

No, you don't. All you have to do is fill up the form with all the relevant details in the fields provided. These would be all your basic information like birth date, residential address, contact details like mobile no, email id etc and SSC marks details, etc.
