Eligibility Criteria for OJEE 2018

Candidates willing to apply for OJEE 2018 must have the following basic qualifications:

  • Candidates must pass the 10+2 examination of Odisha Board or CHSE to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates must pursue Physics and Maths as main subjects are allowed to apply as it is set as the eligibility criteria by the head of OJEE.
  • The candidate must have pursued one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Electronics, IT, Computer Science, Geology, Statistics to fulfil the eligibility criteria of OJEE 2018.
  • The candidate must be an Indian national to satisfy the eligibility criteria of OJEE 2018.
  • Candidates must have scored at least 45 per cent aggregate marks in the qualifying examination to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • The University has reserved quotas for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backwards classes and physically handicapped candidates.
  • For such candidates, the aggregate marks required at the graduate level qualifying exam is 40 per cent to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • The candidate need not fulfil any minimum age criterion to qualify the eligibility criteria for taking OJEE 2018.

M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan/M.Pharma

For M.Tech, students should be passed/appearing bachelor degree examination (B.Tech).

For M Pharm, students should be passed/ appearing bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.

For M.Arch, bachelor’s degree in architecture is required.

For M.Plan, students should have passed bachelor’s degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Statistics, Social works with specialisation in Community Development and Rural Development.
