Eligibility Criteria for OJEE 2018

Candidates willing to apply for OJEE 2018 must have the following basic qualifications:

  • Candidates who have cleared the 10+2 examination of Odisha Board or CHSE with Physics and Maths as main subjects are allowed to apply as it is set as the eligibility criteria by the head of OJEE.
  • The candidate must also have studied one of the subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Electronics, IT, Computer Science, Geology, Statistics to fulfill the eligibility criteria of OJEE 2018.
  • The candidate must be an Indian national to satisfy the eligibility criteria for OJEE 2018.
  • Candidates must have scored at least 45 per cent aggregate marks in the qualifying examination to satisfy the eligibility criteria for OJEE 2018.
  • The aggregate marks for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes and physically handicapped candidates is required at the graduate level qualifying exam is 40% to satisfy the eligibility criteria for OJEE 2018.
  • The candidate need not fulfill any minimum age criterion to qualify the eligibility criteria for taking OJEE 2018.

For M.Plan, students should have passed bachelor’s degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Statistics, Social works with specialisation in Community Development and Rural Development.

The eligibility criteria for the BAMS and BHMS course is as below: -

  • The candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination from CHSE, Odisha OR
  • The candidates should have passed any equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • The candidates must have minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination(40% for SC/ST candidates).

OJEE 2017 Eligibility is:

  • Eligibility criteria regarding exams: Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination from the Odisha Board or CHSE. They should have had Physics and Mathematics as their main subjects.   • Eligibility criteria regarding Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian national.
  • Eligibility criteria regarding marks in the qualifying exam: Candidates should have scored at least 45% in the qualifying examination. For the SC/ST/OBC and Physically handicapped category candidates, the cut-off is 40%.
  • Eligibility criteria regarding reservation of seats: There is reservation for the SC/ST/OBC and Physically handicapped category candidates.
  • Eligibility criteria regarding age limit: There is no age limit.
  • Eligibility criteria for all courses:

  • MBA: Candidates should have scored 50% in the qualifying examination. (45% for SC/ST category candidates). The candidate should be a graduate.
  • MCA: Candidates should have scored 50% in the qualifying examination. (45% for SC/ST category candidates). Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree (BCA, BSc (IT/CS/IST/ITM)) in any stream. Candidates should have had Mathematics in 12th or at a graduate level.

The candidate should be a graduate in any of the following i.e Architecture, Planning, Civil Engineering or a Master’s Degree in Economics, Geography, Sociology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Statistics, Social Work with specialisation in Community Development and Rural Development.

The minimum marks required must be at least 50% or more in the qualifying examination. There is no age limit for this course.
