Eligibility Criteria for REAP 2018

Candidates appearing for REAP 2018 can get admission in Government and aided colleges/universities in Rajasthan. The seat allotment is done in two ways. 

  • Based on the JEE Main Score
  • Based on the 12th-grade marks

But, candidates applying based on their JEE Main score is given higher preference over other candidates.


Educational qualification for REAP 2018: 

  • Candidates must have qualified at least five subjects in class XII out of which compulsory subjects are Physics and Mathematics.
  • Candidates should have chosen one subject among these subjects: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject. 

Domicile criteria for REAP 2018: 

  • 100% seats are available for candidates who are applying for REAP 2018 based on their JEE Main Score.
  • Next priority, in REAP 2018,  would be given to the candidates who are applying based on their 12th board marks.

REAP 2018 Age Limit:

  • Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October 1992 are eligible to appear in REAP 2018.
  • However, in the case of Scheduled Caste ( SC ), Scheduled Tribe ( ST ) and Person with Disability ( PwD ) candidates, upper age limit are relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PWD candidates who were born on or after 1st October 1986 are eligible.
  • Date of birth as mentioned in the Secondary Education mark sheet/certificate will be considered as authentic.

REAP 2018 Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch Candidates:

The Council of Architecture has laid down the following academic qualifications for candidates who want to join in B.Arch courses through REAP 2018. They are: 

  • Candidates who have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for appearing in REAP 2018. 
  • Candidates who have completed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Govt. with 50% aggregate marks are also eligible for REAP 2018.
  • Completion of an International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination would make candidates eligible for REAP 2018.
  • All admissions to B.Arch. degree courses through REAP 2018 shall be subject to the passing of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (COA).
  • Candidates should have scored a minimum of 80 out of 200 for all categories of candidates.
  • Candidates belonging to any log in would not have any kind of relaxation in the minimum score of NATA 2018 while applying for REAP 2018. 
  • Candidates who have appeared in JEE Main 2018 are also permitted to take part in the REAP counselling.
  • But they would have to clear NATA 2018 by November 2018. 
  • Such Candidates should obtain their NATA 2018 score card and all the required documents before reporting in the Institute in which the seat has been allotted to them through REAP 2018.
