Overview For SUAT 2018:

In the present era of Globalization, the Education Environment & Admission Procedure has become more dynamic. To cater to the need of the hour, Sharda University, the provider of world-class education since 1996 has announced SUAT (Sharda University Admission Test) to be a single platform Admission Test. Sharda is India’s first Pvt. University to come up with such a comprehensive test at par with leading Universities & National/State Level Entrance tests.

The SUAT has a different set of papers for different disciplines. It is one of the most exhaustive & unique Online Test conducted by Sharda University.

SUAT is designed to bring in admissions to Sharda University for courses such as B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Tech + MBA integrated, B.Tech + M.Tech integrated, BBA, B.Com, BBA + MBA integrated, MBA, Journalism & Mass Communication & Design, Integrated Law, BA (Hons) & B.Sc in all disciplines.

SUAT 2018 Important Dates

  • The Application Forms are available in the month of March 2018.
  • The last date for the submission of the Application Form is in the month of May 2018.
  • The slot booking dates are in the month of May 2018.
  • The examination is scheduled to be in the month of June 2018.
  • The Admit card can be downloaded in the month of May 2018.
  • The results will be declared in the month of June 2018.

SUAT 2018 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for SUAT 2017 is based on whether or not a candidate is clear of all the following criteria:


 For UG Courses Programmes:

  • Minimum prescribed qualification is the 12th class from any recognised board.
  • Candidates must complete 17 years of age on 31st December of the year of admission.
  • Foreign national candidates are required to pass certificate equivalent to Class 12th examination. Such candidates are also required to meet the eligibility criteria of Association of Indian University (AIU).

 For PG Programmes:

  • Minimum prescribed qualification is graduation passed from the recognised University of India.
  • For foreign nationals, prescribed educational qualification is degree awarded by a University in a particular country and should meet the equivalence criteria of Association of Indian Universities
  • Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.

SUAT 2018 Application Process

The Application Process for SUAT 2017 can be done by either an online or an offline process.


 If the candidate is applying through an Offline Process:

  • Admission Office, Sharda University, Greater Noida Campus
  • Regional Offices
  • International Offices

The application fee of Rs. 1,000 can be deposited by any one of the following means:

  • Depositing Cash at Sharda University Fee Counter
  • Depositing Cash at your nearest Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank branch. Please carry a printout of Voucher (Chalan), as a proof of online filling of application form.
  • Through Credit Card/Debit Card in cases of online submission of the form.
  • Demand draft in favour of Sharda University payable at Greater Noida

 If the candidate is applying through the Online process:

  • Candidates applying online through Sharda University website will be routed for self-application
  • On successful submission of application, the system will generate a unique ID & Password (Numeric). The unique identification number so generated will be his identity throughout the admission process.
  • An auto-generated email will be sent to the candidate's email id, containing the following information.

  • Through Online Examination Booking System (OEBS), the applicant will be able to book his/her exam date, time, and exam centre of choice from the available options given in Online Examination Booking System (OEBS).
  • After successful booking of the exam schedule on OEBS, the applicant will be able to generate a Tamper proof admit card containing the relevant data for Examination.

SUAT 2018 Application Form Details

The Application fee for SUAT 2018 is Rs. 1,000. Applicants can submit the application fee via:

  • Cash Payment – Submitted at Sharda University Fee Counter or deposit cash at your nearest Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank branch.
  • Online Payment – Through Credit Card/Debit Card.
  • Demand Draft – Drawn in favour of Sharda University payable at Greater Noida.

Candidates who are submitting the application fee through DD are required to mention Name, Father’s Name, Contact Number, and Course applied on the reverse side of DD and send it to the address mentioned below:

SUAT 2018 Admit Card

  • Only registered candidates will be eligible for downloading the hall ticket of SUAT 2018.
  • Candidates can download the admit card at the time of slot booking itself. 
  • Candidates are required to report at the examination centre on the selected date & time with two copies of hall ticket and identity proof.

SUAT 2018 Exam Pattern

  • SUAT is a computer based online test.
  • The time duration of SUAT is about 90 minutes.
  • SUAT consists of a total of 100 questions.
  • All questions in SUAT will be objective type with 4 alternate answers each.
  • SUAT assesses Problem Solving skills, Analytical Skills, and Language Proficiency of the candidates.
  • There are no negative markings in SUAT.
  • The candidate needs to secure at least 35% marks to qualify in SUAT exam.

SUAT 2018 Syllabus

  • The syllabus for SUAT is different in each scheme, mainly:
  • Post Graduate: General Awareness, Logical Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Under Graduate (Bio): English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Biology & Chemistry.
  • Under Graduate (Non-PCM): General Awareness, English Communication, Logical Reasoning & Critical Thinking & Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Under Graduate (PCM): English Communication, General Aptitude, Physics, Maths & Chemistry.

SUAT 2018 Results

  • Sharda University will declare the results on their official page in the month of May 2017.
  • Applicants need to download results from official page and along with results university will declare rank cards based on the rank obtained in the test.

 Applicants need to follow below steps to download from official page,

  • Log on to the official page of Sharda University.
  • Find the web link for Sharda University Admission Test 2017.
  • Click on the "Test Results 2017" link.
  • Enter application ID and password.
  • Results PDF will be available on the screen.

SUAT 2018 Counselling

  • The candidate will be called for the counselling process based on the rank obtained for SUAT test and candidates need to register for counselling by paying some fee.
  • The candidates are called for the verification of documents based on their rank.
  • Successful candidates are called up for Personal Interview and Group Discussion (in the case of MBA candidates).
  • Personal Interview and Group Discussion rounds will be conducted in SU campus/regional offices.
  • Final selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s score in Admission Test, Personal Interview and Group Discussion.
