Eligibility Criteria for TSICET 2018

Candidates must fulfill the Basic Eligibility Criteria to be able to apply for the desired programme. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • To be eligible, the candidates should belong to India.
  • The candidates in all the categories (SC/ST, General) must have scored 25% in the TSICET to be eligible for admission. 
  • To be eligible for MBA Course: Minimum prescribed educational qualification is three years bachelor degree from a recognised institution.
  • To be eligible for MCA Course: Minimum prescribed educational qualification is three years bachelor degree passed with Mathematics.
  • If in case, he/she from outside of Telangana, then it is necessary to submit a local/Non-local certificate from the officials to study in a Telangana Educational Institution. (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date, to be eligible for the exam.
  • If the qualifying degree is obtained by distance mode then it should be recognised by the joint committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC, to be eligible for the TSICET exam.
  • The candidates who are in the final year of the qualifying examination can also apply provided their results will be declared on or before the TSICET 2018 Counselling Process.
  • Only the candidates who Studied a discipline in Graduation under an institution affiliated by the University Grant commission (UGC) or a similar institute/University that having equal status are eligible to apply for this job opening.
