Important points about the application form for UPSEE 2018:

  • Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam technical university issues an online Application Form Fees which has to be filled duly and submitted within the stipulated time.
  • The applicant will be required to pay the Application Form Fees to successfully submit the Application Form.
  • Payment of the UPSEE Application Form Fees will have to be done only in online mode i.e., through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
  • A transaction number will be generated after successful payment and has to kept for future reference.
  • The confirmation page will be generated and the applicants are requested to keep 2 print out copies of the confirmation page for future use.
  • Fees for general, OBC, male and transgender candidates is INR 1,000.
  • Fees for female, ST, SC candidates is INR 500.

What are the common causes for rejecting the application?

The following are some of the reason(s) that may lead to rejection of your Application.
• If the photograph of the applicant affixed in the printout of Application and the photograph
uploaded Online are different OR do not follow the guidelines given in the ‘Photo guideline’
• If the photograph affixed in the printout of Application is not duly attested by the Head of the
Institution which he/she studied last or by a Gazetted Officer.
• If Applicant and Parent have not signed in the specified areas on the printout of the Application.
• If duly filled and signed Course Certificate/Mark list and Nativity Certificate in the
prescribed/e_district format are not attached along with the printout of the application.
• If the particular Application Fee meant for each category (General or SC/ST) is not paid.
• If printout of application (use the ‘Print Your Application’ link) and supported documents reach
after the last date specified.

If you are not using Firefox, shift the browser to it. Most of the time, problem may be solved by clearing the cache of the browser.

  • Candidate has been given an opportunity to review the form and correct information including photograph as many times as he want before finally submitting it. Once application is finally submitted, it cannot be changed.
