Results for UPSEE 2018

The results are declared on 27th May 2018 and it can be checked on its official website http://UPSEE.nic.in or upresults.nic.in. The results will be declared by Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University. These results will be used to determine the admissions of candidates into various courses. Results are based purely on the exam scores. A merit list will be uploaded after the results are announced. Counseling rounds will begin after the declaration of results.

How to download the UPSEE 2018 results:

Results will be hosted by AKTU at upresults.nic.in. The steps given here are to be followed to see the results.

  • Open the official website of AKTU
  • Click on the link of result 2018
  • Enter your roll number and birthdate to access the result.

Based on performance of the candidates in UPSEE 2018, separate merit lists will be prepared for each course. Merit position, score-card with total marks and marks obtained in each subject shall be available on website after the declaration of the result.

Revaluation and scrutiny of answer sheets will be done on a payment of 5000 INR per paper within 7 days of declaring the results.


Tie breaking in the UPSEE 2018:

In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in the results, inter-se-merit of such candidates shall be determined as follows:

Firstly, by the number of incorrect answers given. A candidate giving lesser number of incorrect answers will be placed at higher merit.Secondly,

  • B.Tech: By the marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry sections of Paper 1 respectively and then by age.*
  • B.Pharm: By marks obtained in Biology,Chemistry,Physics sections of Paper 2 respectively and then by age.*
  • B.Arch: By marks obtained in Drawing Aptitude, Mathematics & Aesthetics sensitivity section of Paper 4 respectively and then by age.*
  • B.Tech.(Ag.Engg.): By marks obtained in AG-I,AG-II,AG-III section of Paper 3 respectively and then by age.*
  • B.Tech. (Bio Tech.): Same as applicable in B.Tech./ B.Pharm BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MAM/MBA/MCA/Lateral entry: *By age only 

The cut-off percentage of marks in UPSEE 2018 for the merit of successful candidates is 25% (20% for SC/ST) as per UP State Govt order.

Based on the results, separate merit list will be prepared for each course. Merit, score card, total marks will be available after the declaration of the UPSEE 2018 results.
