Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2018

  • The students must fall within the given AILET 2018 eligibility criteria set by the examining authority to appear for the AILET 2018 entrance exam.
  • The candidates appearing for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) course, must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum 50% aggregate to satisfy AILET 2018 eligibility.
  • Candidates must not exceed 21 years of age on or after 1 July, 2018 (23 years in case of SC/ST category) for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) program.
  • The candidates willing to enroll for LL.M. program & PG Diploma program must have completed LL.B. or an Equivalent Law Degree securing a minimum 55% marks and minimum 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
  • The candidates appearing for final year are also eligible to apply for AILET 2018.

Important Notes:

  • If the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, they will not be eligible to write the AILET 2018 exam.
  • The candidate has to satisfy all the AILET 2018 eligibility criteria.
  • Faking or lying about eligibility will not be tolerated and will lead to the cancellation of the candidate's AILET 2018 Application.

Note: If the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, he/she will not be eligible to write the AILET exam.

The candidate has to satisfy All the AILET Eligibility Criteria, not one.

Faking about eligibility or lying about eligibility will not be tolerated and will lead to the cancellation of the candidate's AILET Application.

Elibility for a Candidate applying for postgraduate law programs:

  • Candidates need to have passed LLB Degree or an equivalent degree in order to fill in the form.
  • They need to secure at least 55% of the total marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Those belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/PWD) need to secure at least 60% in the qualifying examination.
