Overview of AMUEEE:

Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam AMUEEE 2018 is a national level acclaimed entrance test organized by the Aligarh Muslim University. The entrance exam will be conducted in the fourth week of April (tentatively). The test is conducted for students aspiring to take admissions in Undergraduate Engineering Programs offered by the Aligarh Muslim University.

The exam will be held in offline mode. The candidates would be selected on the basis of their scores in the entrance exam. Aligarh Muslim University has been ranked 9th among the top universities of higher learning in India and 50th among the top rated universities in Asia. It is one of the oldest universities in India offering numerous graduation level engineering and architecture programs. Eligible candidates can fill the application form on the official website.

AMUEEE 2018 Important Dates

  • The AMUEEE Application forms are available in the month of February and March (End week) 2018.
  • The AMUEEE Admit card will be available in the month of May (last week) 2018.
  • The AMUEEE exams are scheduled to be in the 3rd week of May 2018.
  • The AMUEEE results will be out in the 3rd week of June 2018.

AMUEEE 2018 Eligibility

  • The eligibility criteria are decided by the university. Eligibility criteria is a set of requirements that need to be fulfilled by all candidates who want to appear for AMUEEE. It is essential for all candidates who want to appear for the AMUEEE 2018 exam to satisfy the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria is a set of conditions which all candidates who want to write AMUEEE have to satisfy.

 The eligibility criteria for AMUEEE 2018 is as follows:

  • The candidates who are applying for AMUEEE 2018 must have cleared the senior secondary school or an equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to satisfy the eligibility criteria for AMUEEE 2018.
  • To satisfy the eligibility criteria for AMUEEE, the candidates who studied diploma in engineering from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply.
  • The candidate must be 17 years of age as on 31st December in the year of registration to satisfy the eligibility criteria for AMUEEE.

AMUEEE 2018 Application Process

The Application form for AMUEEE 2018 will be available in online as well as offline mode(via downloading). Eligible candidates can visit the official AMUEEE exam portal of the Aligarh Muslim University and fill up the form online. To fill the form in offline mode, candidates can download the form from the official website. The candidates are requested to apply for the exam before the deadline.


Candidates need to first register online on the official AMUEEE website by submitting the following details:

  • Name
  • Parent’s Name
  • Course
  • Email ID
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Mobile Number etc.

The login details for the AMUEEE 2018 Application form submission will be sent on the email id submitted by the candidate. The candidates can use the received log-in details to log-in to the online application process and start filling the form.

The AMUEEE application fee is Rs.500 for all candidates.

The AMUEEE application form can be paid either via Debit card/ Credit Card/or candidates can choose to draw a DD in favor of “Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh” payable at Aligarh.

AMUEEE 2018 Application Form Details

Students must follow the below steps to fill the AMUEEE application form using the log-in details received, the candidate should first log-in to the online application form on the official AMUEEE website of the Aligarh Muslim University.

Applicants need to enter the below details correctly at the time of filling the form.

After entering all the details in the AMUEEE application form, candidates need to pay the fee. The candidates can pay the fee in online mode and offline mode.

The candidate should enter the payment details in the AMUEEE online form and submit it completely.

After the form submission, the candidate would be issued an AMUEEE application number which will be unique, which the student must keep safely and note it down for future reference.

In case the candidate needs to communicate with the university for any exam related issue, the candidate will have to use the AMUEEE application number as the reference.

Finally, the candidates will be able to download the AMUEEE application form.

It is advised that the candidate must collect a printout of the AMUEEE application form future reference.

AMUEEE 2018 Admit Card

The students who have applied to appear for the AMUEEE entrance test are eligible to attain the AMUEEE admit card online. The AMUEEE admit card is released by the exam conducting body. It will be uploaded online on the official website of the University and can be downloaded for further AMUEEE examination procedure.

The candidate is required to submit the application number and date of birth after which the AMUEEE admit card will be generated on the screen. Students can also retrieve the Application number in case lost by submitting the required information.

The AMUEEE hall ticket displayed on your screen has all the details you have provided at the time of application. Kindly go through all the information mentioned on AMUEEE admit card, especially the photo and signature.  In case if you find any information or details which are incorrect or not identical to the one submitted by you during AMUEEE online registration, you can issue a complaint to the admission authorities.


 How to download the AMUEEE admit card:

  • Go to the official website for AMUEEE.
  • Click on the link provided to download the admit card.
  • Fill in your ID and password on the page that opens.
  • Click on submit to view the admit card.
  • Download and print the admit card. 

 Important details about the AMUEEE admit card:

  • Only candidates who have submitted the AMUEEE application form in the right order as well as sent over the AMUEEE application fee earlier than or on the due date will have access to download the AMUEEE admit Card.
  • When the candidate produces the AMUEEE admit card at the exam centre, he or she will also need to carry a photocopy of a valid identity proof. The candidate is requested to visit the AMUEEE official website regularly for latest updates.
  • The candidate will have to carry PAN card or Aadhar card or any such relevant identity proof along with the AMUEEE admit card to the exam hall.
  • It is advised to all candidates that they check all the details mentioned on the AMUEEE admit card. Any discrepancies in the admit card details should be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities immediately.
  • The AMUEEE admit card should be kept with the candidate till the admission process gets over for verification process.
  • AMUEEE Admit card should not be tampered with as it is an important document.
  • Plagiarising the AMUEEE admit card is a punishable offence. Any candidate found trying to plagiarise the AMUEEE admit card will be barred from writing the AMUEEE exam and strict action will be taken against him or her.

AMUEEE 2018 Exam Pattern

The AMUEEE 2018 exam will consist of total 150 questions which are framed from subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, based on the syllabus.

The questions pattern in the AMUEEE test will be of objective type.

There will be negative marking associated with answers marked in AMUEEE 2018 exam. Each correct answer will carry 1 mark, whereas, for every incorrect answer, 1/4th marks will be deducted.

The time duration for AMUEEE 2018 will be 3 hours.

Out of the total 4 answer options in every question, only one option will be right.


 There are several programs which include B.Tech and will have a time duration of 3 hours.

  • B.Tech will have a time duration of 3 hours.
  • B.E.Evening will have a time duration of 2 hours.
  • B.Arch (Paper 1) will have a time duration of 3 hours.
  • B.Arch (Paper 2) will have a time duration of 3 hours.

AMUEEE 2018 Results

  • AMUEEE 2018 results will be declared by the end of June 2018.
  • Once the results have been released by the exam authorities, the results will be uploaded on the official website of the University for the students to access.
  • A notification regarding the results will also be announced in all the major dailies as well as other career guidance websites.
  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the results.
  • Admission in the Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and technology will be granted on the basis of the candidate's rank in AMUEEE.
  • ZHCET is a branch of AMU and offers B.Tech courses.

AMUEEE 2018 Counselling

  • AMUEEE 2018 Counseling will be done after the declaration of results for AMUEEE 2018. The availability of AMUEEE 2018 seats will be based on the merit list.
  • The process of AMUEEE 2018 starts with online registration, choice filling at the time of registration, and ends with document verification seat allotment for the candidates at the time of counselling who will qualify the AMUEEE 2018.
  • The second round of Counselling will be conducted by the Aligarh University tentatively in the fourth week of July.
  • The candidates who have cleared the AMUEEE exam will be offered admission to various undergraduate engineering courses at the University at the time of counselling.

  • Marks sheet of class 12th exam with FOUR Self attested photocopies
