AP EAMCET 2018 Syllabus:

  • Photograph: Colored passport size of the candidate is required to be pasted on the Admit Card and given to the invigilator in charge at the AP EAMCET exam centre.

  • Date: The AP EAMCET Counselling 2018 will start on 1st June 2018.

  • Allotment Letter: The eligibility of candidates for AP EAMCET 2018 counselling can be checked by using the candidate's login.

  • AP EAMCET 2018 Seat Allotment Order: The AP EAMCET Seat allotment order is the official invite for the candidates to the Centre of AP EAMCET to take participate in the certificate verification process and in AP EAMCET Counseling 2018.

AP EAMCET Reservation Criteria for Candidates:

  • Underprivileged section: AP EAMCET 2018 makes sure that a certain amount of seats are reserved for the candidates who belong to the underprivileged section.

  • NCC: 1% seat is reserved for AP EAMCET for NCC candidates.

  • Sports quota: Candidates will get the reservation of 0.5% in sports quota under games category.

  • Female candidates: Reservation of 33% is provided for Female candidates irrespective of the category or section.

  • SC: Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) division will be provided with a reservation of 6% in the non-minority institutes.

  • ST: Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) will be provided with a reservation of 15% in professional unaided non-minority institutes.

  • OBC: Candidates who belong to the Other Backward Class (OBC) will be provided reservation of 25%.

  • Handicapped: Candidates who belong to the Physically Handicapped (PH) category with hearing, visual and orthopaedic disabilities will be provided with a 3% reservation in ST, SC, and OBC categories.

  • The AP EAMCET reservation of seats of 2% is applicable for the candidates whose parent will be working under BSF, CRPF and staying in Andhra Pradesh at least for last 5 years or is an Ex-servicemen.


  • Women: 1/3rd of the seats from each category and course are reserved for women. (Category includes : OC/ SC/ ST/ BC/ CAP/ NCC/ SP/ PH).This reservation shall not be applicable if women candidates are selected on merit in each category.

Important guidelines for AP EAMCET 2018:

  • Bring valid admit card: The candidate has to bring valid ID and admit card to the examination to the hall. Candidates should not tamper their admit card as it will lead to disqualification.

  • Arrive before the exam date: The candidate shall arrive at the online examination Centre at least 2 hours before commencement of the examination. This will enable the candidate to familiarize himself/herself with the online examination process. The candidate is not allowed even late by One Minute from the commencement of the examination

  • Avoid carrying anything other than hall ticket: Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material, Calculators, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, printed or written material, paper bits, cell phones etc except for the Hall ticket/Admit card.

  • Check the hall ticket: Please check the Hall ticket carefully for your Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Test Centre Name, Date and Time of examination. A candidate who does not possess the Hall Ticket issued by the Convener, AP EAMCET-2018, shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.

  • A candidate is not allowed to enter after exam: No candidate, under any circumstances, will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after the commencement of the examination.

  • Occupy the allotted seats only: A seat indicating Hall Ticket number will be allocated to each candidate. Candidate should find out and occupy their allotted seat only.

  • Ensure the language: The candidate should ensure that the question paper available on the computer in English and Telugu languages only.

  • Avoid carrying baggage: No Candidate will not be allowed to carry any baggage inside the Examination Centre.

  • Beverages are not allowed: Tea, coffee, cold drinks or snacks are not allowed to be taken into the examination rooms during examination hours.

  • Permission from Centre Superintendent: No candidate, without the special permission of the Centre Superintendent or the Invigilator concerned, will leave his/her seat or Examination Room until the full duration of the Examination.

AP EAMCET 2018 Important Dates Summary:

  • Application form date: AP EAMCET 2018 registration process begins from 9th February 2018 and goes until 22nd March 2018.

  • Mock Test: AP EAMCET 2018 Mock Test will be held on February 15th.

  • Submission: The AP EAMCET application forms can be corrected latest by April 2018 and the forms must be submitted by May 2018.

AP EAMCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria Summary:

  • Note: Candidates are requested to follow the obligatory norms before applying for the exam and they should also check whether they fall under the pre-set terms and conditions.

  • Age limit: The applicants should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December for Engineering.

  • Nationality: Candidates should be either Indian citizens, Persons of Indian Origin or NRIs in order to be eligible for B.Tech, Pharmacy, and B.Sc.

  • Requirements: Candidates should satisfy all the local and non-local status requirements laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the subjects or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the subjects.

  • Category wise Score: The General category students should secure a minimum of 45% in 12th for PCB/PCM and for SC candidates it is 40%.

AP EAMCET 2018 Application Process Summary:

  • Official Website: Candidates must visit the Official Website of AP EAMCET in order to fill in the Application form.

  • Fees: The AP EAMCET Application Form Fees can be paid online using AP online/TS online/debit card.

  • Uploads: A scanned photograph and signature must be uploaded.

  • Printout: The applicants must take the print of application form for reference.

  • Documents: The documents required for the application process are caste certificate for SC/ST/BC category, PH/NCC/Sports Certificates, Income certificate and Resident/Study certificate.

  • Visit the official website of AP EAMCET and log in using the transaction ID they have been provided after the transaction.

AP EAMCET 2018 Application Form Details

AP EAMCET 2018 Application Form Summary:

  • Registration: The AP EAMCET 2018 application process will start from 9th February 2018 and goes until 22nd March 2018.

  • Engineering Application Fee: The Application Form fee for candidates appearing for AP EAMCET 2018 Engineering exam is INR 450 plus Processing Fee.

  • Agriculture Registration Fee: Candidates have to pay INR 450 as the application fee for Agriculture plus Processing Fee.

  • Note: Candidates appearing for both streams must pay INR 900 as the Application Form Fee plus the Processing Fee.

  • Payment Mode: The Application Form fee must be paid online through AP state/TS state/Credit/Debit card.

AP EAMCET 2018 Admit Card

AP EAMCET 2018 Admit Card Summary:

  • Availability: The AP EAMCET 2018 admit card must be downloaded from the official website by clicking on the admit card link.
  • Mandatory: Candidates must carry the AP EAMCET 2018 admit card to the exam center, failing which they will not be allowed to write the exam.

  • Discrepancy: Discrepancies if any in the admit card must be reported to the concerned authority.

  • Passport Size Photo: A recent, colored passport size photo must be pasted on the admit card and it should be handed over to the invigilator which will be checked at the exam center.

  • Admit Card Details: The AP EAMCET 2018 admit card will contain details like name and address of the candidate, category, photo and signature of the candidate, date and time of exam and venue of exam.

  • Printout: The required details must be filled in and the admit card will appear on the screen which must be printed.

AP EAMCET 2018 Exam Pattern

AP EAMCET 2018 Exam Pattern:

  • AP EAMCET 2018 exam consists of 2 papers.

  • Paper 1: It consists of 3 parts i.e: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Physics and Chemistry sections will consist of 40 questions each and Mathematics section will consist of 80 questions.

  • Paper 2: It consists of 4 parts i.e: Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry.

  • Each part of paper-2 consists of 40 questions.

  • The exam is MCQ based and every correct answer will fetch the candidate 1 mark. There is no negative marking.

  • The question paper will be available in 2 languages. i.e: Telugu and English.

  • Rank Calculation: Candidate's rank is calculated based on AP EAMCET 2018 score and 12th marks or equivalent Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics score on a 75% and 25% weight age basis.

  • Cut off Calculation: AP EAMCET 2018 cutoff score is calculated based on the number of candidates who have a given the examination, difficulty level, previous year cut-off and a few other constraints.

AP EAMCET 2018 Counselling:

  • Eligibility: Students who qualify the AP EAMCET 2018 exam will be eligible for counselling.

  • Registration: Candidates must register for document verification through the AP EAMCET helpline.

  • Verification of Details: The details in the registration form must be verified. Students must select the course and college and arrange it in the order of preference.

  • They will be notified about seat allotment and other information like fees, reporting at college etc.

  • Documents: Documents like their rank card, admit card, income certificate etc must be produced during the AP EAMCET counselling process.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:

The main eligibility criteria for getting admitted in this course is students with good inter weight and with good rank in AP EAMCET exam. I have not taken any entrance exam as I got the seat in this college through counseling. I have not taken any exam and no cut-offs for me.
