Overview of AUEET 2018:

Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test, commonly known as AUEET, is an examination conducted by Andhra University, Vishakapatnam for students aspiring for admissions into 6 years integrated dual degree engineering courses in Andhra University. The exam is conducted by Andhra University in the month of May every year.

The application forms will be online in the month of April 2018 tentatively. Candidates aspiring to take the AUEET exam can download the form from the official website for the AUEET examination. The AUEET examination will be conducted in three centers, namely Vishakapatnam, Kakinada and Vijayawada for 410 seats.

AUEET 2018 Eligibility

  • Education Qualification: Candidate must have appeared for and passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Age Limitation: Candidate must be at least 17 years of age as of December 31 of the year of taking the examination with no upper age limit to satisfy eligibility criteria.
  • Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India.

  • Take a print out of the application form. Put your signature, photograph and thumb impression at a designated place in the form.

Candidates willing to apply for AUEET Exam can pay the application fee through Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card.

AUEET 2018 Admit Card

Admit Card for AUEET can be downloaded from the official site of AUEET Exam. Candidates must make sure that they get the admit card to the examination hall or else their test will be canceled without any refund of the application fee. Only after the verification of the eligibility of the candidate will he/she be considered for AUEET admission/ selection. candidates must attach a colored passport size photo to the admit card.

AUEET 2018 Counselling

  • The students who will get shortlisted in the AUEET entrance exam will be called for further counseling.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:

Admissions in Andhra University, [AU] Vishakhapatnam

The admission process to the UG programs generally starts in the month of April every year. The admission to PG programs is conducted from March onwards. The selection criteria for admission to the programs ranges from marks scored in qualifying examination to performance in state-level or university-level entrance examinations.

The University conducts AUCET for admission to a majority of PG programs offered at its departments. Admission to Integrated B.Tech.+M.Tech. and other B.Tech. programs, the University takes admission through AUEET. Some of the other examinations through which the University takes admission are APICET for MBA and MCA courses, AP LAWCET for admission to Law courses, and AURCET for Research courses.

The University follows the reservation Policy as laid down by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The University has 85% of seats reserved for local candidates. The University also has 33.33% of total seats available reserved for women candidates.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:
  • Eligibility criteria for admission into AU is you must pass intermediate with 50% and must write eamcet exam or AUEET exam and admission process by the government rules and the seats are divided according to the reservations and the conselling for the seats is done 3 times for eamcet categories and 3 times for AUEET categories.
  • Students from AUEET entrance exam, the course format is B.E+M.E. Students can exit from the programe after completing B.E if they want they can continue.
  • The cutoff varies for oc exam, cet rank should be below 1000 and for reservations students various from 4000. Fee structure for eamcet students is Rs 10000 per year and for NRI categories it various from Rs 3.5 to Rs 4 lakhs per year. Fee structure for AUEET students is Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 2 lakh per year
