  • Admit card availability: Candidates who are waiting for the admit card of BITSAT 2018 exam it will be available in the month of April and then finally you can go for admission which will be done in the month of June according to the test score.
  • Admissions: BITSAT 2018 will open the door for candidates seeking admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes (BE/B.Pharm.) at various BITS Pilani Campuses viz Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad.

  • Test mode: BITSAT is a Computer Based Test which is considered as tough as other engineering entrance exams like JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

  • Application form availability: On the official website BITSAT 2018 application form is expected to be available tentatively from 19th December 2017  to 13th March 2018.

  • Exam date: The BITSAT 2018 exam is going to be held on 16th May 2018.

  • Mandatory Criteria: Candidates must have appeared and cleared Biology, Physics and chemistry subjects in class 12th from the recognized board. 

  • Minimum Score: To satisfy the eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2018 candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate of 75%.

BITSAT 2018 Exam Pattern:

  • Mode and Duration: The mode of the BITSAT 2018 Exam Pattern is Online and the duration is 3 hours and the medium of exam conducted will be both English and Hindi.

  • Paper Pattern: The BITSAT 2018 paper pattern consists of 4 sections with a total number of 150 questions and total marks are 450, whereas for every correct answer 3 marks will be awarded, and for every wrong answer 1 mark will be deducted.

BITSAT 2018 Admit Card:

  • Documents: Candidates are requested to carry one of the identification documents along with them at the BITSAT 2018 examination center. These include Aadhar Card, Voter Card, Passport and PAN Card. Each candidate, who will register for BITSAT 2018 is instructed to download the Hall Ticket, candidates with the hall ticket only are allowed inside the Exam centers.

BITSAT 2018 Preparation Tips:

  • Tip 1: Before starting preparation, you have to make a proper timetable that covers all your subjects/topics of the officially prescribed syllabus. Allot more time to a subject that needs more attention and that is asked every year.

  • Tip 2: By solving previous year question papers, candidates will get familiarized with the exam pattern and weight of questions.

  • Tip 3: Candidates must take as many mock tests as they can before the actual day of the test. mock test papers help candidates identify their strong and weak areas. Mocks give them the chance to strengthen those weak areas.

  • Tip 4: Candidates will be confronted with questions in the test related to English language and vocabulary. For this, it is advised that they read as many newspapers as they can daily and mark down words they have unknown so far and then check for their meaning.

  • Expert Committee: There is no reservation of seats, admissions are done only through BITSAT 2018, an expert committee from BITS university will prepare the question paper.

  • Question Type: It is ensured by the expert committee that the questions of BITSAT 2018  are of comparable difficulty level, content, question type, and different candidates will get a different type of BITSAT 2018 questions. Here whatever the decision has been taken by the expert committee will be the final one.

  • Skills: It is assumed that the candidate has a basic awareness of computers, keyboard and mouse operation. Otherwise,  it is the responsibility of the candidate to gain these skills before appearing for BITSAT 2018 and Institute does not take responsibility for the same.

Guidelines for BITSAT 2018:

  • The candidate has to bring a pen for signing and doing rough work.

  • The candidates are not allowed to bring any personal belongings like calculator, bags, mobile, electronic gadgets etc., to the test venue.
  • The candidates are also required to put their finger impressions in the space provided on the attendance sheet.

  • Choosing exam center: The candidates can choose three preferred exam centers on priority on the basis of which the exam centers are allocated.

  • Payment of the fees: The application form fees for the BITSAT 2018 exam for male candidates is Rs. 2200 and for female candidates, it is INR 1700. For NRI students it is $50(varies according to the foreign currency exchange rate).

  • Mode of payment: The payment of fees can be made through Debit Card/Credit Card /Net Banking or through the e-challan from any ICICI bank within India.

    Units and Measurement, Kinematics, Newton's Law of Motion, Impulse and Momentum, Work and Energy, Rotation Motion, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Oscillations, Waves, Heat and Thermodynamics, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetic Effect of Current, Electromagnetic Induction, Optics, Modern Physics and Electronic Devices.
  • Chemistry: The topics under the Chemistry syllabus is as below:

Chemistry:- Petroleum, dynes, and drugs.

Mathematics:- statistics, exponential, and logarithmic series.

Usually, the application form has been made available from December and the candidate an fill it by March.

The Application Form to BITSAT 2017 can be submitted until the 10th of March 2017.

The Board will also provide you with a Window of correction for the BITSAT Application Forms from the 7th to the 10th of March.

All candidate are advised to give in their Application Form Fees to BITSAT before the 10th of March as well.

There is no separate procedure for those students who wish to be admitted through BITSAT 2017. They have to apply similar to Indian students and to provide an equivalence certificate from AIU at the time of applying for Admissions later.

Eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2017

I passed 12th in 2016. I didn't get 75% aggregate in PCM. Am I eligible if I repeat some of the subjects to get the required 75% marks?

If you are repeating 12th exam, you should do it for the all the subjects as required by the board to pass 12th again. If you take improvement exams in PCM/PCB only, you are not eligible.

For admissions to I semester staring in August, you should have your result before 30th June.  Keeping that in mind, you may appear in BITSAT-2017.

Candidates can write BITSAT 2017 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in 10+2.
However, they will be eligible to apply only for the B. Pharm program.
They will not be eligible for any other first-degree program of the institute.

The BITSAT 2017 Application Form Fees will be as follows:

BITSAT 2017 Application Form fees: Rs.2,700 for male candidates.

BITSAT 2017 Application Form fees: Rs.2,250 for female candidates.

BITSAT 2017 Application Form fees: USD $60 (INR Rs. 4,000) for both male and female candidates who have opted for Dubai as Exam Centre.

Your, Application Form Fee may not have been paid to BITSAT. It may be stuck in the gateway.

BITSAT Application Form Fee ek aur baar pay kar ke dekh.

Make sure your using a fast Internet connection while paying to avoid any interruptions or the same.

Then check again.

If it still shows the same, I advise you to get in touch with BITS, Pilani.
