Application Process for BITSAT 2018

  • The Application Process for BITSAT 2018 will begin on 8th January 2018 
  • The application should be filled online only.
  • Candidates who are interested to take up BITSAT can log in to the Official Website to apply for the BITSAT 2018.
  • After the submission of the BITSAT 2018 Application Form, candidates are required to choose their Exam centers.

How to apply for BITSAT 2018:

  • Visit the official website and fill in your name, date of birth, gender, and email ID.
  • Click the Proceed button.
  • Fill in the personal and education details.
  • Select the subject to be taken for the test, either Biology or Mathematics.
  • Choose 3 exam centers based on your preference.
  • Click on the submit button.

Note down the Application number and other details.


Payment of the fees:

The fees for BITSAT can be paid online. The BITSAT 2018 Application Form Fees for Males is INR 2,200 and for Females is INR 1,700. For NRI students who are appearing for BITSAT, it is $50 which varies according to the foreign currency exchange rate on the day of payment. Choose your mode of payment among Debit Card/Credit Card and Net Banking or through the E-challan from any ICICI bank within India.

  • In the case of Credit Card, fill in Credit Card number and Pin no.
  • In the case of Debit Card, fill in Card number and CVV.
  • In the case of Net Banking, fill in Account Number and One Time Password.
  • Click on "Pay Now".
  • Note the transaction number and take multiple copies of the confirmation page.

For offline payment of fees,

  • Download the E-challan and take a print of it.
  • Deposit the cash amount in any ICICI bank branch.
  • Ensure that you have the cash deposit slip with you till you get the hall ticket.

Step by Step Process to Submit the BITSAT 2018 Application form:

BITSAT 2017 Application Process is:

  • The BITSAT application process will begin in December 2016.
  • Application process: Candidates can login to the official website to apply for the BITSAT examination. Fill in their personal and education details. Select the subject to be taken. Choose three preferred exam centers. Click on Submit and note the application number.
  • Payment of the fees: The application fees for male candidates is Rs. 2200/ - and for female candidates it is Rs. 1700/ - For NRI students it is $50(varies according to the foreign currency exchange rate).

There is no separate procedure for NRIs. However, those candidates who have citizenship other than INDIA can apply under International students admissions scheme for BITSAT 2017.

There is no separate procedure for those candidates who wish to be admitted through BITSAT.

They have to apply similar to Indian students and to provide an equivalence certificate from AIU at the time of applying for Admissions later.

  • You cannot edit the application online once submitted.
  • If the mistake is minor, then you can send a written signed request for the correction.
  • However, if you want to change the center preferences, you will have to apply afresh with a new application fees.

  • Even if you want to, the eligibility criteria for an admission at BITS restricts you from handing in the application for BITSAT as they clearly state that the candidate should clear the 12th class before applying for BITSAT.
