CAT exam 2017 application process will begin on 9th June 2017 and will continue till 25th September 2017 .
Check your eligibility for CAT exam 2017 by referring to the Eligibility criteria section on the website.
Payments are only made online on the official CAT 2017 website.
Ensure you have a valid email address and mobile number.
“*” (asterisk) indicates a mandatory field. The boxes marked with this symbol must be filled in or you will not be allowed to submit your application for CAT exam 2017.
Gather all the information you will need for filling the form beforehand, such as:
Mark sheets (10th /12th/ Degree/Diploma).
Work Experience (if you have any).
Applicable Certificates to upload
Scanned images of your passport size photo and signature. (The photo should not be more than six months old and should have a white background).
List of the IIM programmes to which you are applying.
Scanned Images parameter to be followed during upload CAT exam 2017 form:
A recent coloured passport size photograph having dimensions of 35mm X 45mm which has to be clearly scanned and uploaded on the website If the documents are above the resolution or file size limit then it will not upload on the CAT 2017 website.
Download NC-OBC/SC/ST Certificate, fill and get it signed by appropriate authorities, self-attest it and scan as PDF document.
Download PWD/DA Certificate, fill and get it signed by appropriate authorities, self-attest it and scans it as a PDF document.
A clear scanned image of candidate’s signature within the dimensions of 80mm X 35mm.
Both the above said documents should be in a .jpg or .jpeg format and the file size should not be more than 80kb each. Both the images should be clear with a minimum resolution of 150 pixels per inch.
Step by Step Procedure to Submit CAT 2017 Application Form:
To access application form first you need to register, to do that open CAT official website.
Then you need click on Register button and enter all the required details in the form.
Check the "I agree" option in declaration form and click on submit button to complete your registration.
Next, You will receive an email and message which contain system generated User ID and Password.
After that in CAT official website click on "Existing User" and enter your User Id and Password to login.
Then in CAT Application form enter your personal details, academic details, and work experience if any.
Upload scanned copy of your latest passport size photograph and signature in specified format. If applicable then upload your SC, ST, NC-OBC, and PWD certificates.
Then you will be having an option to select preferred programmes and examination center.
Click on save and pay your application fee using Credit card, Debit card, or Net Banking option.

Candidates who aspire to appear for CAT 2017 can register via a three-step CAT registration process on the official CAT 2017 website.
The three step CAT registration process involves – registration, logging in and filling the application form. After registering for CAT 2017, candidates have to fill the CAT 2017 Application Form on the official CAT 2017 website.
I have already submitted my application form but I realized that I did not self-attest on my OBC certificate.Please let me know what could I do now.?Will my caste certificate be considered? Or shall I re-register with other mail address?

There is a correction window provided by CAT Officials for any kind of corrections to be set forward by the candidate. Any correction brought up later on, will not be entertained.
