Introduction to DSAT 2018:

  • About: Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is a private University, situated in the heart of Bengaluru, India. It was established in 1960, by R Dayananda Sagar(Founder) and the University is run by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peeta Trust. The DSAT is a qualifying examination for admission to various courses offered by the University.

  • Conducting Authority: Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, conducts and organises the DSAT every year.
  • Courses: The college offers admissions to the UG and PG Courses like B.TechB.Pharm, BCA, BBA, B.Com, B.A Journalism, M.Tech, MBA, M.Pharm etc.

  • Frequency: The DSAT 2018 exam is just conducted once in a year over few weeks.

DSAT 2018 Important Dates:

  • Application Form: The DSAT 2018 application form will be available from 27th December 2017. The deadline to complete the application process is on 20th April 2018. 

  • Result: Candidates can check the DSAT 2018 results at the official website on 24th June 2018.

DSAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Qualification: For UG courses, candidates must have completed class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum 45% aggregate. For PG courses, candidates must have completed Completed Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum 50% aggregate.

  • Domicile: All the Indian citizens are eligible to apply for DSAT. Foreign/NRI candidates are also considered to apply for the programme.

DSAT 2018 Application Form:

  • Availability: The Dayananda Sagar University will release the application form for DSAT 2018 from 27th December 2017 to 20th April 2018 on the official website.

  • Payment: The candidates can pay the fees online through the official website. For the offline application process, application fee payment should be done at the University counter.

DSAT 2018 Admit Card:  

  • Availability: The candidates who have successfully submitted the application form can download the admit card for DSAT 2018 from 21st April 2018 on the official website of DSAT 2018.

  • Credentials: The candidates are required to enter their Application Number and password to download DSAT 2018 Admit card.

DSAT 2018 Exam Pattern:

  • Mode of examination: DSAT 2018 Examination is a Pen-Paper based exam. 

  • Pattern/Duration: The DSAT 2018 examination will comprise of 100 Multiple Choice Questions and the time duration is 2 hours.

DSAT 2018 Syllabus: 

  • Level: The level of DSAT 2018 will be based on the 10+1 and 10+2 examination syllabus for UG programmes.

  • Syllabus: The UG programmes will have syllabus coming from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. The PG syllabus will consist of Aptitude and General Knowledge questions.

Important Dates Summary for DSAT 2018:

  • Applications: The commencement of the online DSAT 2018 applications submissions is on 27th December 2017. The last date for DSAT 2018 Online Applications is on 20th April 2018.

  • Admit Card: The last date to Download the DSAT 2018 Admit Card is on the 21st April 2018.

  • Exam date: The DSAT 2018 exam date is scheduled to be on 27th April 2018.

  • Results: The DSAT authority will declare results on 24th June 2018.

Well about my college, goodly to say in a word , started 4 years ago and running no less than the main branch, since I came through CET every year cutoffs are decreasing thus showing its progress, but quite easy if ur an above average scorer, college also conducts its own AT called DSAT ,this branch itself is called school of engineering has BCA course in addition and unlike other colleges mech branch has high demand than CS and others ,placements wise ...since its my third year waiting for it and most important to mention everything is centralised and autonomous institution , lastly growing ahead rapidly and can be expected to reach in top 10 colleges postion very soon

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:

1). Anyone can enter our college through writing exam of DSU i.e., DSAT & even the people who get a good rank in KCET can join the college with the common fee structure.

2). I joined this university based on my KCET-2015 entrance examination engineering rank.

3). The cutoff in KCET rank for my branch(i.e., E&C) is around 23000 for general category people.
