Introduction to DSAT 2018:

  • About: Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is situated in the heart of Bengaluru, India’s “Garden City” also known as the “Silicon Valley”, which ranks among the most dynamic, progressive and fascinating of Indian cities. It is also the nerve center for Biotechnology, Genetics and Information Technology.   • Courses: Dayananda Sagar Admission Test(DSAT) is conducted by Dayananda Sagar University which would offer admissions to the UG and PG Courses like B.TechB.Pharm, BCA, BBA, B.Com., B.A Journalism, M.Tech etc.

  • Frequency: The DSAT 2018 exam is led just once in a year.

DSAT 2018 Important Dates:

  • Application Form: DSAT 2018 application form will be available from 1st April 2018 to 12th April 2018.

  • Admit cards: The Admit cards for DSAT 2018 exams will be released on 24th June 2018.
  • Examination: DSAT 2018 Exam will be conducted on 29th April 2018.

  • Result: DSAT 2018 results will be announced on 24th June 2018.

  • Counselling: The counselling date for DSAT 2018 will be announced on 24th June 2018.

DSAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

  • The eligibility criteria of DSAT 2018 is different for UG and PG courses.

  • Qualification: For UG courses, candidates must have completed class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum 45% aggregate. For PG courses, candidates must have completed Completed Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum 50% aggregate.

  • Age limit: There is no age limit to apply for DSAT 2018 exam.

DSAT 2018 Application Form:

  • Application Form Dates: The application form for DSAT 2018 will be available from 1st April 2018 to 12th April 2018.

  • Payment: The candidates can pay the fees online through the official website. For the offline application process, application fee payment should be done at the fee counter at the University.

DSAT 2018 Admit Card: 

  • Credential: The candidates are required to enter their Application Number to download DSAT 2018 Admit card.

  • Availability: The admit card will be available for DSAT 2018 from 28th April 2018 from the official website of DSAT 2018.

  • Note: Candidates are requested to carry admit card along with a valid government-issued ID to the examination hall.

DSAT 2018 Exam Pattern:

  • Mode: DSAT 2018 Examination is the Pen-Paper based exam. The exam will be conducted in offline mode. 

  • Time Duration: The time duration for DSAT 2018 exam is 2 hours.

  • Question type: There will be 100 multiple choice questions in DSAT 2018 examination.

DSAT 2018 Syllabus: 

  • Exam: Candidates must have to be prepared for syllabus of DSAT 2018 before appearing in the examination.

  • Syllabus: The syllabus of DSAT 2018 will be based on the 10+1 and 10+2 examination syllabus.

DSAT 2018 Results:

  • Credential: The Candidate should have to enter the registered email ID and password.

  • Declaration: The result of DSAT 2018 will be declared on 24th June 2018 at the official website of DSAT.

  • Candidates are advised to download and take the printout of the result and keep it safe till the admission process ends.

DSAT 2018 Counselling: 

  • Commencement: The process of DSAT 2018 counselling starts from 24th June 2018.

  • Cut-off: The cut-off list will be published on the basis of course and category. Cut off marks will help determine candidate's rank for the process of admission.
  • Merit: The candidates who will qualify on the basis of merit will be notified to carry out the counselling and admission process. 

DSAT 2018 Important Dates

Important Dates Summary for DSAT 2018:

  • Applications: The commencement of the online DSAT 2018 applications submissions is on 1st April 2018. The last date for DSAT 2018 Online Applications is on 12th April 2018.

  • Admit Card: The last date to Download the DSAT 2018 Admit Card is on the 28th April 2018.

  • Exam date: The DSAT 2018 exam date is scheduled to be on 29th April 2018.

  • Results: The DSAT authority will declare results on 24th June 2018.
  • Counselling: The DSAT 2018 counselling process begins from 24th June 2018.

  • There are many ways to join Dayananda Sagar Institutions, [DSI] Bangalore there through clearing 1. KCET 2. DSAT 3. COMEDK UGET.
  • I took KCET to enter this college For KCET it is 27000.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process:

1). Anyone can enter our college through writing exam of DSU i.e., DSAT & even the people who get a good rank in KCET can join the college with the common fee structure.

2). I joined this university based on my KCET-2015 entrance examination engineering rank.

3). The cutoff in KCET rank for my branch(i.e., E&C) is around 23000 for general category people.
