Important dates for GRE 2017:

Unlike other entrance exams in India, the GRE Test happens throughout the year. It is up to the applicant to decide when he/she is intended to take up the GRE test.

But with this flexibility arises another problem. During the peak season(generally around august to December) it is hard to get an appointment at the designated center according to your comforts. This makes the planning of the exam date a vital part in the preparation of your GRE test.

One can opt to take the next GRE Test attempt only after 21 days of the previous exam date

Things to be noted regarding important dates with GRE Tests:

  • Rescheduling of the test dates.
  • Cancellation of test dates.

Rescheduling of the test dates:

Candidates are permitted to reschedule their test dates within the testing year. The reschedule should be done at least four days before the scheduled exam.

The applicants are expected to inform GRE Services by phone or mail regarding the change along with the following details:

  • Name

  • Date of birth

  • Address

  • Registration Number

  • Previous test date

  • Preferred test center

  • New Test date

Cancellation of test dates:

Candidates can cancel the scheduled GRE test by informing GRE Services.

The following details are expected to be sent over to the GRE services along with the cancellation request by the concerned applicants:

  • Name

  • Date of birth
