Eligibility Criteria for HITSEEE 2018 Exam

  • The eligibility criteria define a certain protocol to be followed by candidates to apply for a course.
  • These criteria are defined by the examination conducting authorities.
  • The candidate must ensure that he or she satisfies all the requirements specified by the authorities for the exam or else his or her candidature will be canceled.

The eligibility criteria for HITSEEE 2018 are as follows:

       For B.Tech Courses:

  • Candidates seeking admission for B.Tech courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Education (12th), prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks for eligibility in HITSEEE 2018 Exam.
  • If you are waiting for your class 12th results then also you are eligible for HITSEEE 2018 Exam.
  • The applicant must have cleared HSC exam or any equivalent exam from a recognized board of secondary education has a minimum of 60 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • Applicants who have appeared for the H.S.C exam and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for HITSEEE 2018 exam.
  • Note that improvement marks will not be taken into consideration for admission to B.Tech courses.

For B.Tech Biotechnology Courses:

  • The applicant must have cleared H.S.C exam from a recognized board of secondary education has a minimum average of 60 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

For B.Arch Courses:

  • The applicant must have cleared H.S.C exam from a recognized board of secondary education has a minimum average of 60 per cent marks or must have cleared an equivalent exam with Mathematics or Business Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • The applicant must have cleared a three-year diploma exam recognized by the Central or State Government having Mathematics as a subject and with minimum aggregate marks of 60 per cent.
  • Applicants who have appeared for the H.S.C exam and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for HITSEEE 2018 exam.
  • All applicants aspiring to seek admissions in B.Arch course must write the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), India. This test is conducted by Council of Architecture and the applicant must score a minimum of 80 marks out of 200 marks.

Age Limit:

  • The upper age limit fixed for the applicant is 19 years on July 1st, 2018.
