About: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is first University set up in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the arrangements of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999. The University is perceived by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under area 12B of UGC Act.

Qualifications: Candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board to eligible for IPU CET 2018.Candidates should have passed with an aggregate of 55% in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. They should have passed English as academic subject.(core/elective or functional).

Seat Allotment: There are multiple rounds of Counselling and seat allotment of IPU CET 2018 such as Registration, Choice Filling and Locking, Payment of Admission fee and Reporting at the allotted institute. After online counselling rounds If there are any seats left, there will be a SPOT round.

Given below is the eligibility criteria for various courses:
Eligibility for B.Tech: They must score a minimum of 55% in 10th and 12th with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. They must also pass English.
Eligibility for BCA: The candidate must pass English and Mathematics as the subjects. They must secure a minimum of 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam.
Eligibility for BBA: They must secure a minimum of 50% marks on the qualifying exam.
Eligibility for MBA: The candidate must get an aggregate of 50% in Bachelors degree or they should have passed the final examination from ICAI or ICWA of India/England or ICSI.
Eligibility for MCA: The candidate must secure a minimum of 50% in Bachelors degree. They should have passed 10th and 12th with Mathematics and English as the subjects.
Eligibility for LLB: They should have scored a minimum of 50% on the qualifying exam.
Steps of the Filling IPU CET 2018 Application Process:
The candidate must select an exam category.
They must fill in the required information like personal details, educational details etc.
Upload the Image in JPEG/JPG or in GIF format
The size of the photograph should be less than 80 KB.
Select the exam center.
They must submit the application form after filling in the required details and checking it.
After the application form is submitted, a login ID and password will be generated.
Payment of IPU CET 2018 Application Fee:
The application fee must be paid either by debit/credit card/net banking.

Steps to download IPU CET results:
The candidate must go to the official website.
They must click on the link for result.
The course name, IPU CET roll number, login, and password must be entered.
The results will appear on the screen.

Merit List: A merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by the candidate.
Candidates who qualify the IPU CET exam can apply for the counselling process.
Date of counselling: The process of counselling starts from 27th June 2018.

27% seats are reserved for Delhi OBC Category belonging to the list of OBC castes in Delhi. The reservation will be available only in the University Schools of Studies and other Government of Studies and other Government Institutions. Students will be admitted in this category on the submission of a certificate to this effect from the Competent Authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi. Certificate issued by Govt. of India will not be accepted under any circumstances. The reservation for OBC Category is only for candidates who are from Delhi Region. A certificate issued by a Competent Authority of Delhi to an individual on the basis of Caste Certificate of his/her parents from another state will not be accepted for claiming a seat under OBC Category. Reservation in OBC Category is not applicable for Master's Level and Post Graduate Diploma programmes for the IPU CET 2017.
