About JEE Advanced 2019:

  • Introduction: The JEE Advanced is a gateway test to secure admission to B.E./B.Tech courses in the top engineering institutions of India viz. IITs, ISM Dhanbad and IISc Bangalore. JEE Advanced is the stage 2 of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains) and only the top 2,24,000 AIR holders in JEE Main are considered eligible for this test.

  • Conducted by: JEE Advanced is organized annually by one of the various IITs, in a round-robin rotation pattern.
  • Exam Mode: JEE Advanced 2019 will be an online (computer based) test.

  • Medium of Paper: Candidates can take the JEE Advanced test in Hindi or English language as per their choice.

  • No. of Papers: JEE Advanced 2019 will have 2 papers and the test takers will be given 3 hours to complete the test.

  • Qualifying Criteria: To qualify JEE Advanced 2019 a candidate must score a total of 372 marks and 124 marks in every section/paper viz. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The candidate must clear the JEE ADVANCED 2019 exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute. The cutoff rank must be below 10,000.

The candidate must clear the JEE MAIN + JEE ADVANCED 2019  exam and must have passed the 12th with minimum of 75% marks from a recognized institute. The cutoff mark for general is 80-115 and the rank must be below 32,000.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject Obtained at least 45% of marks in the above subjects taken together JEE MAIN; JEE ADVANCED 2019; KCET; COMEDK UGET; AUEET; or any other State-level engineering entrance examination. Diploma or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution with 45% marks in an appropriate branch of engineering.
