 JEE Advanced 2018 Counselling Process

Counselling process for JEE Advanced 2018:

  • The successful candidates will have to take part in the JEE Advanced Counselling process which will begin from 22nd June 2018.
  • Only eligible candidates who make it to the JEE Advanced 2018 Merit List are eligible to participate in JOSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).
  • Seating allotment will be done by seat matrix.

Counselling Stages: There will be following rounds of Counselling in total.

 Register online through the official Website

  • Enter Registration Number of JEE Advanced
  • Enter Roll Number of JEE Advanced
  • Date of Birth & Password

Online Choice Filling

  • Using the Registration ID Candidates can fill the choice of branch, course & Institute.
  • Candidates must lock their respective choices before the last date.
  • Take the Print of the choices.
  • If some choice is denied then the candidates must contact the help desk of the JEE Advanced for which the information is    provided on the website

Counselling is done the basis of Ranking. Seat Allotment is categorized on the basis of:

  • Date of Birth
  • Nationality
  • Percentage of Disability

Additional information about Counselling will be available on the Official Website to JEE Advanced.

FOR ARCHITECTURE

  • Aspiring Candidates for Architecture have to clear Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT)
  • Candidates qualifying JEE Advanced are eligible to appear in AAT
  • Candidates will have to register online for AAT at jeeadv.ac.in
  • The test will go for 3 hours & there is only one paper. The admit card of JEE Advanced is to be provided at the center of the exam.
  • Architecture students can also appear for NATA that leads to many other Institutes.

Admit Card Proof
You need to carry your JEE Advanced admit card for counselling procedure.
Marks Card
Carry your 10 and 12th mark-sheets and result of JEE Mains.
Caste Certificate
If you belongs to reserved categories you should carry your caste certificate.
ID Proof
You need to carry identity cards issued by the government of India like Aadhar card, passport, voter-id card etc.
Migration Certificate
Carry your migration certificate issued by any recognized board.
Photo & Signature
You need to carry your 2-3 recent passport size coloured photographs.

  • Registering for JEE Advanced Counselling
  • Filling up choices and locking them
  • Seat Allotment
  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges, and
