Hi, Nishmitha.

In case of the male candidate, left hand thumb impression is required. Right thumb impression is required in case of the female candidate. In case the candidate uploads the wrong thumb, then he/she has to apply the same thumb on the attendance sheet during examination as provided in the online application.

JEE Main involves 2 different set of exams:

  • Pen - Paper Based Exam on the 3rd of April
  • Computer Based Exam (CBT) on the 9th and 10th of April

The Answer Keys and OMR Sheet will be displayed from the 18th to the 22nd of April.

Candidates will be allowed to submit their Challenge of Answers during these dates.

I managed to qualify in JEE Advanced 2016. I was allotted a seat and paid the admission fee too. However, I could not join the program due to certain reasons. Can I appear for JEE Advanced this year?

  • If a student has accepted a seat at any IIT or ISM Dhanbad and paid the admission fee, he or she is not eligible to sit for JEE Advanced again. However, if you did fill in the withdrawal form within the stipulated deadline, you may sit for the exam.
