Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER MBBS 2018

  • The eligibility criteria are decided by the exam conducting authority.
  • All the applicants should fulfil the eligibility criteria.
  • The candidates who fail to meet the eligibility criteria are ineligible for applying for the JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam application form.
  • Thus, applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria for JIPMER MBBS 2018 Entrance Exam before applying.

The eligibility criteria for the JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam is mentioned below:

Citizenship: 

  • The candidate has to be a citizen of India to be eligible for JIPMER MBBS 2018
  • NRI and OCI candidates are also eligible to apply for JIPMER MBBS 2018

Age Limit: 

  • Applicants must complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2018 to be eligible for the JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam. No age relaxation is provided to reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate should have passed  12th grade and 10th grade with subjects  Biology, Physics, Chemistry and English to be eligible for the JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam.
  • The applicants belonging to the General category should have secured minimum marks of 50% in PCB and overall to be eligible for the JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam.
  • The SC/ST/OBC/Reserved-OPH category applicants should have secured minimum marks of 40% in PCB and overall to be eligible for the JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam.
  • General OPH candidates should have secured minimum marks of 45% in PCB and overall to be eligible for the JIPMER MBBS 2018 exam. 
  • The Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than those mentioned in the list will have to submit an Eligibility Certificate before admission is finalized.
  • Obtaining this Eligibility Certificate from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi is essential for OCI/NRI for admission to JIPMER M.B.B.S. Course.
