About JKCET Exam:

  • Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test is also known as JKCET, a renowned state level medical and engineering entrance test conducted by J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations(BOPEE).
  • The test is conducted to shortlist eligible students for various medical courses in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • JKCET 2018 will be conducted as per the dates notified by the exam conducting authority The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE). 
  • The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) was established by an Act of the State Legislature (Act No. XXV of 2002).
  • Under the Act, the BOPEE is entrusted with the task of conducting entrance tests and recommending candidates for admission to various professional courses in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. It includes Medical and Engineering courses.
