For Hornadu candidates, the Eligibility criteria's are:

  • They have to obtain 12 marks out of 50 marks in Kannada language examination conducted by KEA to gain admission in the Government seats for eligibility in KCET.
  • They have to undergo a Kannada Language test to check their ability to speak, read and write Kannada to satisfy eligibility in KCET.
  • Candidates who have studied 10 academic years in Kannada medium from class 1st to class 10th outside Karnataka need not appear for KCET Exam as per eligibility criteria in KCET.

The application form for KCET will be available from January 13 on the Official Website. All candidate are advised to send in their application forms, properly filled by the 25th of February and the application fees should be paid by the 26th of February.
