Introduction of KEE 2018:

  • About: KEE or Karunya Entrance Exam is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted by Karunya University, the University was founded as a Christian minority institution and is recognized by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

  • Courses: Candidates seeking admission for Undergraduate, postgraduate, Integrated, Research or MBA programmes to take up the KEE 2018 Exam.

  • Frequency: The KEE 2018 is led just once in a year.

  • Syllabus: The Syllabus of KEE 2018 is based on the 10+2 syllabus that is Physics, Chemistry and mathematics.

  • Eligibility: Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for the KEE 2018 entrance test.

  • Application Form: The application forms for KEE 2018 will be available from 10th December 2017 until 13th April 2018.

  • Examination: The exam date for KEE 2018 will be announced on 12th May 2018.

  • Mode: Payment of the registration fee can be made by online mode only i.e. (Credit/Debit/Internet Banking or any online payment).

  • Exam pattern: The KEE 2018 Exam pattern will consist of four sections and of 50 marks.

KEE 2018 Results:

  • Official website: KEE 2018 results will be declared on the official website.
  • Credentials: The candidates are required to enter their Enrolment Number and Date of Birth to check his/her KEE 2018 results.

  • Note: Results will appear on the screen on the official website of KEE 2018 and a print out should be taken.

KEE 2018  Counselling:

  • Counselling: KEE 2018 qualified students can apply for the counselling process of KEE 2018.

  • Note: Document verification will be done in the counselling process, on the basis of merit list, admissions will be done.

  • The process of KEE 2018 counselling starts from 27th May 2018.

KEE 2018 Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria Summary for KEE 2018:

  • B.Tech. - 4 years: The candidates must have obtained 50 % aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

  • B.Tech. Lateral Entry - 3 years: The candidate must hold a Qualifying Diploma or B.Sc with at least 60 % aggregate.

  • M.Tech. - 2 years: The candidate must hold a qualifying degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks.

  • Postgraduate diploma - 1 year: The candidate must have obtained 50% aggregate in B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.

  • M.Sc. Integrated - 5 years: The candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

  • M.Sc. Lateral Entry - 2 years: The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in B.Sc Physics/ B.Sc. Chemistry/ B.Sc. Nanoscience/ B.Sc. Electronics/ B.Sc. Biotechnology.


KEE 2018 Application Process

  • KEE 2018  application Form can be filled only online.

  • The application forms for KEE 2018 will be available from 10th December 2017.

KEE 2018 Online Application Process:

  • The candidates should visit the official website of KEE 2018.

  • They must have to register with a valid email address and mobile number.

  • Then the candidates have to click on “Fill Online Application Form”.

  • Fill in all the required credentials.

  • The candidates should upload photograph and signature in jpg format.

  • Process the payment of application fee using the online method.

  • After successful payment, the candidates can download the filled application form.

  • The candidates are advised to take a print for future reference.

  • I have attended KEE exam which is the Karunya entrance exam.
  • The only cutoff is you should have above 50 out of 100 in all the subjects. One exception is allowed.

  • The selection process is as below: -

    • Karunya University will not conduct any separate entrance test for admission.
    • Candidates will be admitted provisionally based on their qualification marks in their final year examination and also based on the eligibility requirements set by the university.
    • Candidates have to submit the requisite amount before the specified date.
    • All the candidates, however, have to appear in an entrance test during the provisional admission process.
    • Their admission will be confirmed based on the scores of the entrance test and after they meet the eligibility norms.
    • Candidates can also get the refund on fees provided they fill the application form for a refund.

  • Karunya University has a creditable record of placement of its final year students and graduates. A good number of final year students plan to go for higher studies in India or abroad or are entrepreneurs.

    As per recent trends  about 80% of eligible final year students, who seek placement, are placed with reputed organizations.

  • Yes, there is a particular dress code to be followed.

    Men: Students must be neatly dressed in formal and clean-shaven with a decent hair cut at all times when in the campus. Earrings & Ear Studs are not permitted. They should wear formal trousers. Shirts should be tucked in. They can wear only shoes whenever they are in the University campus. During University functions and on special occasions, they should wear their University uniform (blue blazer and tie). T-shirt and Jeans (of any type including cargo) and low waist trousers are not permitted.

    Girls: Students are required to wear either salwar kameez or Churidhar with dupatta pinned at the shoulders or sarees. They should wear the University uniform [Blue Blazer] on special occasions.

    Casual dress: -Jeans & T-shirt with collar and sleeves (for boys), Jeans and long Kurtas (for girls) is also permitted.

  • Yes, the scholarship details are as below: -

    • Jesus Calls Young Partners can avail a one-time scholarship of  Rs.50,000/-
    • Wards of Alumni or Staff can avail a one-time scholarship of Rs. 30,000/-
    • Siblings of current students or Alumnus of Karunya University can avail a one-time scholarship of Rs. 30,000/-
    • A Child of a Pastor / Missionary from a Registered Church or Missionary Organization can avail a one-time scholarship of Rs. 30,000/-
    • The girl students who are not eligible for any of the above scholarships can avail a one-time scholarship of Rs. 20,000/- .
    • However, one student is entitled for any one of the above scholarships.
    • Apart from this, the students are eligible to receive Government Scholarship and institutional scholarships (Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran memorial educational scholarships for economically weak section of students).
    • Sports Quota students are eligible for concessions of 50% or 100% (including hostel charges).
