MAT Exam Eligibility Criteria: 

  • All candidates applying for MAT Exam 2018 must ensure that they are eligible to apply for the MAT exam before beginning with the MAT application process.
  • The eligibility criteria for MAT has to be satisfied by the candidates or they will not be eligible to apply for MAT exam.
  • All conditions of the MAT eligibility criteria must be satisfied.

Eligibility criteria for appearing in MAT Exam are as follows:

Education Qualification:

  • The Candidates to appearing in MAT should have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized Board or University.
  • The Graduate degree can be from any stream.
  • The degree can vary from Medical, Engineering, Commerce, to Political Science.
  • To get eligible for MAT Exam Applicants must have obtained at least 50% percentile in their graduation course.
  • The percentile limit for Scheduled Caste/ Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Persons With Disability Candidates to be eligible is 45%.
  • Candidates in the final year of their Undergraduate Program also meet the eligibility to apply for MAT.
  • Final year students in Undergraduate Program must ensure their graduation before the Management process begins.
  • There is no work experience required for applying for MAT exam but information about work experience will be asked in the application form

The Nationality of the Candidates:

  • The Indian National Candidates are eligible for MAT Exam.
  • The NRI candidates are also eligible to apply for MAT exam. Check the Official Website for Abroad Test Centers.

Age Limit and Attempts for the Candidates:

  • There is no age limit for candidates to be eligible to apply for the MAT Exam.
  • There is no limit to the number of attempts they can take in this exam.

  • The minimum score limit may vary in few Management Institutes. Check the AIMA & Management Institutes' website for the required information.
