Application Process for UPSC NDA 2018

  • Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling up the application form
  • Online submission of application can be made at website www.upsconline.nic.in. Detailed instructions are available on the site. Candidate should read the instructions Candidate should supply all the necessary details correctly while filling in the form.
  • All mandatory fields will have an asterisk sign on them.

  • The application form is available in Hindi and English but can only be filled in in English.
  • Fill all the relevent details in application form carefully
  • The candidate must click on the "I agree" button and ensure that all the details are accurate.
  • A page with registration number will be generated and the candidate must take a printout of this page.
  • They must then register on the number given.
  • They must then upload a Scanned photograph should be in JPG format. The digital size of the file must be less than 40 kb and greater than 3 kb and resolution 140-pixel height by 110-pixel width and Bit Depth of image file should be 24 bit.
  • They must then upload their scanned signature in JPG format. The digital size of each file must be less than 40 kb and greater than 1 kb and resolution 110-pixel height by 140-pixel width and Bit Depth of image file should be 24 bit.

  • Candidates can pay application fee through online SBI net banking or by cash via SBI Bank challan or through credit card/debit card.
  • To pay the fee in cash, the candidate should take a printout of the challan generated online after completion of registration. Candidate can go to nearest SBI branch for depositing fee after 24 hours of generation of Challan.
  • Those who are exempted from payment fees need not pay the fees.


  • On successful completion of their complete application, an auto-generated email will be sent on their registered email-ID. In case they are not received by they must check/submit that the submission of Part-II of the application has been made by them.
