Application form, Dates, Syllabus and Pattern of NPAT 2018
National Test for Programs After Twelfth [NPAT] is a national level entrance examination. It is an examination for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate and integrated programs of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).
The NPAT examination is the official entrance test for courses offered by constituent schools of SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies at Mumbai & Shirpur Campuses. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies is a Deemed to be University. The NPAT eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidate for him/her to appear for the same.
NMIMS is one of the most prestigious institutes in India. The college provides various subject options to the candidates.
There are 5 campuses across India: Mumbia, Shirpur, Bangalore, Navi Mumbai, Indore.
The NPAT is a national level entrance examination which is conducted in May. This is followed by the NPAT
NPAT 2018 Important Dates:
NPAT registration: The NPAT registration will begin from March 10th, 2018 till May 7th, 2018.
NPAT admit cards: The NPAT admit cards will be issued from May 9th, 2018.
NPAT exam: The NPAT 2018 exam will be held on May 14th and 15th, 2018.
NPAT Merit list: The NPAT Merit list will be declared on June 2nd, 2018. The fees can be paid from June 3rd to June 10th, 2018.
NPAT second merit list: The NPAT second merit list will be declared on June 13th, 2018. The fees can be paid for the Second Merit list from June 14th to June 20th, 2018.
NPAT third merit list: The third NPAT merit list will be declared on June 22nd, 2018. The fees can be paid for the Third Merit list from June 23rd to June 30th, 2018.
The admissions will close on July 12th, 2018.
The national level NPAT selection test is held in May at various Exam Centers across India.
The NPAT Admit Card will be available from 9 May 2018 and can be downloaded from the official NPAT website.
Around 1820 seats are accessible for competitors looking for admission in the undergrad program and 710 seats in the PG program through the NPAT Exam.
The syllabus and pattern for the NPAT examination is based on the 10+2 subjects.
Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or any equivalent exam with minimum 60% marks in the first attempt to eligible for B.Sc Economics course, including Indian Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in any stream. The candidate should have passed Mathematics / Statistics in 10+2 or any equivalent exam.
Candidates should have passed their 10+2 examination to be eligible for B.Tech and MBA (Tech) course, including Indian Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with English.
Candidates should have scored minimum 50% in PCM in class 12 or any equivalent examination for admission in Mumbai campus.
For admission in Shirpur campus candidates should have scored minimum 45% in PCM in class 12 or any equivalent examination and candidates with a diploma in engineering with minimum 50% are eligible to apply.
Candidates who have passed their 10+2 examination or equivalent exam from Open or Distance learning (ODL) School recognized only by National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) can apply for the program.
The candidates applying for the class 12 examination can also apply but candidates above 25 years of age are not eligible.
Eligibility criteria regarding MBA Pharma Tech (B.Pharm+MBA) course: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination or any equivalent exam including Indian Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English.
Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in PCM/PCB to be eligible to apply for the course.
NPAT 2018 registration starts from March 10th, 2017 till May 7th, 2017.
Candidates need to provide the following the documents for registration: Scanned copy of the signature JPEG format and the dimensions are 200 pixels(tall) x150 pixel(width), Scanned copy of the passport size photograph JPEG format and the dimensions are 200 pixels(tall) x150 pixel(width), Valid age proof such as driving license or Aadhar card, Class 10th and 12th Mark sheets and Class 10th certificate for Date of birth proof.
Firstly candidate should visit the NPAT official website and fill in their personal details. For the main registration process, a unique NPAT login ID and password will be used.
The candidate has to choose an exam center and enter his/her educational details andiIn the main registration process.
Before clicking on the final submit button candidates need to make sure that all the details are entered correctly.
The candidate has to pay the fees using Debit/credit card/ Online Payment or Demand Draft.
Depending on the number of schools the candidate has applied the application fee will vary. The application fees for 1 school is INR 1800, the application fees for 2 schools is INR 3000, the application fees for 3 schools is INR 4000 and the application fees for 4 schools is INR 5000.
