Eligibility Criteria for SBI Clerk Exam 2018

Eligibility criteria regarding the Qualification for SBI Clerk Exam 2018: 

  • For Junior Associates candidates must obtain a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government to satisfy the eligibility criteria for SBI Clerk Exam 2018.
  • For Junior Agricultural Associates candidates must obtain a graduate degree in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognized University/Institute to satisfy the eligibility criteria for SBI Clerk Exam 2018.
  • Candidates who are in the final semester/ year of graduation may also apply for SBI Clerk Exam 2018.

 Eligibility criteria regarding the Age for SBI Clerk Exam 2018

  • Minimum age of candidates applying should be 20 years and maximum age is 28 years to satisfy the eligibility criteria for SBI Clerk Exam 2018.
  • Age relaxation is provided to reserved categories candidates for SBI Clerk Exam 2018.

Age Relaxation criteria for different categories:

  • For General Merit(GM) category candidates, the maximum age limit is 28years.
  • For SC and ST category candidates, the maximum age limit is 33years.
  • For OBC category candidates, the maximum age limit is 31years.
  • FOr PWD( GM, SC/ST and OBC) candidates, the maximum age limit is 38, 43 and 41 years respectively.

Eligibility criteria regarding the citizenship for SBI Clerk Exam 2018 

  • It is compulsory to be an Indian citizen in order to fulfill the eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2018 examination.
  • Citizens from Bhutan, Nepal or Bangladesh are only allowed when they have a valid certificate that states that they have the intention to settle in India permanently to satisfy the eligibility criteria for SBI Clerk Exam 2018.
