Prelims: SBI PO 2018 Prelims score is used to shortlist the candidates into Mains and the candidates who clear the Mains exams will go through the last selection process which is a Personal Interview.
Interview: Group Exercise and Personal Interview is the final round (Phase-III) in SBI PO 2018 Recruitment. SBI has introduced a prioritization based group exercise which is also being conducted this year in the Group Discussion Round.

Note: Prospective candidates must read the advertisement regarding the process of examinations and interview, eligibility criteria, online registration process, payment of prescribed application fee/intimation charges, the pattern of examination, issuance of call letters etc. and ensure that they fulfill the stipulated criteria and follow the prescribed processes.
Job responsibility: The responsibility of a PO will be to work as a Public Relations Officer.
Discrepancies: The PO will have to handle customer complaints and address various customer related issues, matters such as discrepancies in accounts, rectification of undue charges and looking into complaints regarding services provided by the bank.
The work of an SBI PO also includes managerial tasks, such as supervision of clerical work, making decisions for the benefit of the bank, and managing cash balance.
Job profile: The SBI PO job profile includes supervision of all the work done by bank clerks and the issue of ATM cards, cheque-books, and demand drafts.
The SBI PO Job Profile includes SBI maker & checker system. In cash transactions, the clerk is the maker and PO is the checker and the responsibility of losses resides with the checker.
Tasks: Once the Probationary Officer gets acclimatized to the bank environment and gain enough experience on bank’s working procedures, based on his/her personal skills and aptitude, you can be assigned more responsible work. Tasks like planning, budgeting, marketing, loan processing & approval, and investment management.
SBI PO should be aware of all the latest ongoings and developments within the bank. They are required to be involved in every decision taken by management.
Probation period: The probation period of the SBI Probationary Officer is 2 years. You can be asked to perform any kind of bank related activity. It can be either clerical or an assistant type of job. The reason for such change in work is to get you trained with various working procedures of the bank.
Disciplines: SBI PO will also be trained in various disciplines like finance, accounting, marketing, billing as well as investment. This is done by delegating you with jobs of various categories. The aim is to instill practical knowledge.
Once the Probation Period is completed successfully, you will be Appointed as an Assistant Manager to handle works on daily customer transactions like passing a cheque, issuance of draft and Cash Management
The important difference between SBI PO and other bank’s PO is exposure, you will be exposed to handle bigger roles and responsibilities.

Applicant's Nationality: Any Indian National with a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university of India or equivalent can apply for SBI PO Exam 2018.
Age: The candidate must be between 21-30 years as on April 1st, 2018. However, relaxation for upper age limit will be provided for reserved categories.
Candidates qualifying for the Mains Exam will be tested in Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, English Language and General Awareness.
The preliminary exam will be objective in nature consisting of a total of 100 questions from the prescribed discipline of the subjects. The duration of the test will be an hour.
The main examination will have 2 sections and will be conducted for a period of 3 hours and 30 minutes. It will have 155 objective and 50 descriptive questions.
The scanned photograph and signature of the candidate must be of the prescribed specifications for successful completion of the application process.

Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for an interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2018.
Candidates having the qualification of Chartered Accountant are also eligible to apply for SBI PO 2018.
Pertaining to the VH/OH candidates who suffer from above 40 percent disability must have the relevant certificate issued by the Medical Board of Central Government of India.

Required Details: Thereafter, the applicant will get the application form that will require applicant’s details like name, gender, age, qualification, marks obtained, category and contact details along with some other basic information.
Save the Application: Once you are done with filling up the form, click on the ‘save and next’ link and continue to the next page.
Photograph & Signature: Upload your scanned copy of photograph and signature (photo size not more than 50kb and signature image should not exceed 20kb) and click on the ‘upload’ and then ‘next’ button.
Application Fee: On the next page, you need to make the payment online towards the registration fee. For the general category the fee is INR 600/- and for the SC/ST/OBC/PWD fee is INR 100/-.
The Application Form for the Recruitment of SBI PO 2018 can be categorized into the following sections:
Step 1- Online Registration:
The candidate has to visit the official website of SBI and click on the current openings for SBI PO 2018.
Click on “Apply Online”.
Step 2- Upload Photograph & Signature:
The candidate has to upload his/her recent passport size photograph and signature in SBI PO 2018 application form.
Both, the photograph and signature have to be uploaded ensuring they satisfy the laid down specifications.
Step 3- Fill in details:

The payment of the fees has to be made online using a debit card, credit card or net banking.
For the General and OBC categories the fee is INR 600 and for SC/ST, it’s INR 100.
Step 5- Confirmation:
The fully filled SBI PO 2018 application form indicating the successful status of fee payment will be made available to the candidate.
Candidates are advised to take a printout of the same for future reference.
Release: Admit card for SBI PO Recruitment Exam 2018 will be published online on the official website of State Bank of India (SBI) on 15th April 2018. It is an enabling document generated on basis of submitted SBI PO 2018 Application Form.

Candidates who have submitted the application for appearing in the SBI PO 2018 Exam will be getting hall ticket for the preliminary exam almost fifteen days prior to the scheduled date of exam.
Admit Card for Mains: Candidates who obtain qualifying cut off marks, decided by the State Bank of India, in preliminary exam, will be issued admit card for the Mains exam. Similarly, after Mains exam Results are announced for SBI PO 2018, qualified candidates will get a call letter for GD and PI.
The candidates are advised to check their registered email ID to get intimation regarding admit card for SBI PO Exam 2018.
Candidates should get the admit card/call letter to the exam center in order appear for examination or interview.
Candidates are not supposed to send the hard copy of the admit card to the SBI officials.
Preliminary Exam: Eligible candidates need to appear for the online preliminary examination for the recruitment of SBI PO 2018.
Mains Exam: Candidates qualifying the Preliminary exam will be eligible to take up the Main exam (online) on the selected date at the selected venue prompted by the SBI authority.
Medium of the test: The above two phases of the examination will take place in two languages viz., English and Hindi. No other regional language will be available as a medium of the test.
Negative Marking: There is negative marking in the online tests as well. So students must be careful before submitting any response.
After clearing the GD round, the selected candidates are required to appear for the Personal Interview which will be the last phase of the formal recruitment process for SBI PO 2018.

Result for each stage is to be announced by State Bank of India in online mode, as per schedule.
Candidate can check result of SBI PO 2018 using the Registration number or Roll number, and Date of Birth or Password from the official website of SBI.
After checking result for SBI PO 2018, if the candidate has qualified that particular stage of selection, the candidate must follow instructions for next stage of the exam.
For prelims exam, qualified candidates will be given, Admit Card for SBI PO 2018.
For mains exam, qualified candidates will be given, Call letter for GD & PI.
