About: SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering (SRMJEEE) is an entrance exam conducted for admissions to B.Tech and M.Tech degree programmes offered in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, Sikkim, Modinagar and Ghaziabad campuses of SRM University Chennai, Amaravati campus of SRM University– Andhra Pradesh and Sonepat Campus of SRM University– Haryana.
Frequency: The SRMJEEE examination is conducted yearly in April.
Courses: This examination caters to candidates seeking admissions for B.Tech and M.Tech degree programmes offered in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and Ghaziabad campuses of SRM Institute of Science and Technology Chennai, Amaravati campus of SRM University– AP and Sonepat Campus of SRM University– Haryana.

Scholarships: SRM University, AP Amravati is providing scholarship opportunities. Students getting an aggregate of 90% in PCM in CBSE or 95% in any state board will be given a full tuition and hostel fee waiver.
Eligibility criteria: The eligibility criteria of SRM Ghaziabad (NCR) campus has been reduced to 50% in PCM for 2018 whereas the previous year eligibility criteria in the qualifying exam was 55%.
Adhaar card: The candidates applying for SRMJEEE 2018 exam has to scan his/her adhaar card and upload it during the application process.
Courses: SRM is joining hands with MIT, the USA for introducing new courses.
Examination date: The SRMJEEE 2018 Exam Date will start on 16th April 2018.
Counselling date: The SRMJEEE 2018 counselling process will begin on 9th May 2018.
Qualification: Candidates who have completed or pursuing 10+2 or equivalent exam in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology as major subjects from any recognized board.
Age: Candidates must be 17 years of age as on December 31 2018.

Application process: Candidates have to register online first and then fill in the application form with all the required information.
Documents: The candidates have to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications.

Paper pattern: The paper contains three sections which include 35 questions from Physics, 35 questions from Chemistry and 35 questions from Mathematics/ Biology.
Marking scheme: Each right answer will be awarded three(3) marks. There is no negative marking.

Admit cards: The SRMJEEE 2018 admit card will be issued to only those candidates who have successfully submitted their application form before the last date.
Hall ticket: The admit card acts as a hall ticket to attend the examination. Therefore no candidate will be allowed to appear for the examination without the SRMJEEE 2018 admit card.

Election: Candidates can choose three exam centres of their preference. This can be done while filling the application form of SRMJEEE 2018.
Exam centres: The SRMJEEE 2018 exams will be held in 116 test centres available across 29 states of India.

Announcement: The SRMJEEE 2018 results will be available on 3rd May 2018.

Counselling Process: The counselling will be done after the SRMJEEE 2018 results have been declared. The counselling will be done in 2 rounds.
Rank: The candidates will be called for counselling as per their SRMJEEE rank based on the results of SRMJEEE 2018.

Submission of Application Form: The Application forms should be submitted by 31st March 2018.
Slot Booking: The slots can be booked in the month of March 2018.
Admit Card: The SRMJEEE admit card can be downloaded from 1st April 2018.
Online Exam: The SRMJEEE Online exam will be held on 16th April 2018.
Declaration of Rank: The SRMJEEE ranks will be declared on 3rd May 2018.
Counselling: The SRMJEEE counselling will be held on 9th May 2018.
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed 10+2 with 65% or more aggregate or equivalent grade in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) to be eligible for SRM JEEE 2018. For B.Tech BioTech. / Biomedical Engg. / Genetic Engg. / Bioinformatics, the candidates should have min 65% in Biology or Maths, Physics and Chemistry to be eligible for SRMJEEE 2018.
Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian citizen or he/she must have passed their 11th and 12th examination from the education board of India.
Foreign Candidates: Candidates should hold the passport issued by foreign countries. Foreign nationals, PIO card holders, OCI (Dual citizens), NRI students, and NRI sponsored students are eligible. 15% of the seats are reserved for this category.
Courses: The candidates who have attempted the SRMJEEE examination with PCM group, are eligible for admission to all the B.Tech degree programs and those who have attempted the same with PCB subjects are eligible for admission to B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Genetic engineering courses.
Application Availability: The candidates can only fill the application form on the official website in Online mode. The Application will last from 1st November 2017 to 31st March 2018.
Obtain Credentials: Once the registration process is completed the candidates will receive a login ID and password.
Activation of Account: The candidates can activate their account and fill the form using the login ID and password.
Fee: Once the process of filling details is done the candidate has to pay the fee INR 1100/- and note the application number.
Registration Mode: The SRMJEE application form can be filled online and offline.
Application window: The candidates can apply from 1st November 2017 to 31st March 2018.
Required details: Candidate has to enter the details like Personal details, Educational details etc.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the Application fee of INR 1100/-. Which can be paid either in Online or Offline mode. Application Fee is Non-Refundable.
Required Documents: A candidate has to submit documents like 10th and 12th Marks sheets, Recent Photographs and Signature, Graduation Marksheet etc.
Details: The SRMJEEE admit card contains details about the name of the candidate, application number, date of examination and centre.
Procedure: The candidates must log in to the official website and click on the link provided. The candidate will be redirected to the admit card download page. The candidate has to enter the application number. The admit card will be displayed. Download and print the admit card.
Identity proof: The candidates have to carry a photo identity proof along with the SRMJEEE admit card.
Mandatory document: The SRMJEEE admit card is a mandatory document and will be issued online only. The admit card must be kept safe by the candidate.
Tampering: The tampered admit card will lead to serious consequences.
Type: The SRMJEEE exam is a computerized exam.
Language: It will be conducted in English.
Subject wise mark allocation: Physics will have 35 questions, Chemistry will have 35 questions, Mathematics/Biology will have 35 questions
Total marks: The paper will have a maximum of 315 marks.
The syllabus is based on the 10+2 syllabus.
The main topics are as follows: -
Physics: The main topics are Units and Measurement, Mechanics, Gravitation, Mechanics of Solids and Fluids, Oscillations and Wave Motion, Heat and Thermodynamics.
Chemistry: The main topics are Basic Concepts in Chemistry, States of Matter, Chemical Families - Periodic Properties, Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure.
Mathematics: The main topics are Sets, Relations, and Functions, Complex Numbers, Matrices and Determinants, Applications of Matrices and Determinants.
Biology: The main topics are Taxonomy of Angiosperm, Plant Anatomy, Cell Biology and Genetics, Biotechnology, Plant Physiology and Biology in Human Welfare.
Result Date: The SRMJEEE results will be available on 3rd May 2018.
Procedure: The candidate has to login to the official website and click on the link provided. The candidate will be redirected to a new page where they have to enter their registration number and then click on submit. The results will be displayed on the screen. Take a print out of the results for future reference.
Revaluation: The answer sheets cannot be revalued.
Merit list: The SRMJEEE 2018 results will be published by the competent authority.
The successful candidates will have to take part in the SRM counselling process which will begin in May 2018. Additional information about counselling will be available on the official website http://www.srmuniv.ac.in.The counselling will be done after the SRMJEEE results have been declared. The counselling will be done in 2 rounds. The candidates will be called for counselling as per their SRMJEEE rank based on the results of SRMJEEE 2018.
During the counselling procedure, the allotment of seats and branch will be done. The seats are allotted to the successful candidates based on their performance in SRMJEEE 2018. The SRMJEEE 2018 counselling will be held online as well as offline on the campus of the University. The counselling details will be published on the official SRM website within the stipulated time. The candidates are also informed through e-mail.
