  • Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2018 is a state level qualification examination to get admission in MBA, MCA, M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan at various Government & Non-Government in Tamil Nadu.

TANCET 2018 Eligibility:

  • Candidates aspiring to participate in TANCET 2018 must satisfy the eligibility criteria.

Education Qualification:

  • MBA: Applicant must hold Bachelor’s degree with 50% of marks for General category & 45% of marks for Reserved Category
  • MCA: Candidate must hold Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University of at least 3 years duration with mathematics as a major subject at class 12 level or graduate level
  • MCA(Lateral Entry): Candidate must hold Bachelor’s degree in BCA/B.Sc(Computer science/Information Technology) from a recognized University with mathematics as major subject in class 12 or at the graduate level.
  • M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M.Plan: Candidate must hold Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the relevant field from a recognized category For General Category minimum percentage marks criteria is 50% and for reserved category 45% in the qualifying degree examination.

A total of 69% seats are reserved for SC/ST/SCA Category Candidates, The rest 31% will be open to other students.

TANCET 2018 Admit Card

  • Availing the Admit Card: Candidates can download the admit card for TANCET exam from the first week of June. To download the admit card candidates can visit the TANCET website and follow the instructions.

There's nothing you can do about it now.

Once the Application Form is submitted and the Admit Card is allotted, TANCET (Anna University) doesn't provide a window for corrections of any kind.

You must get in touch with the Board (Anna University) to get a good view on your options.

There's nothing you can do about it now.

Once the Application Form is submitted and the Admit Card is allotted, TANCET (Anna University) doesn't provide a window for corrections of any kind.

So, you might just have to go to Chennai for the exam or maybe wait for TANCET next year for an opportunity at Salem (Highly NOT Advised).

I assume you'll make a proper decision regarding the matter.
