About: Uttar Pradesh State Entrance [UPTU] Examination is otherwise known as UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) conducted for candidates who want to get into Degree level Engineering as well as Professional Colleges.
Conducted by: The UPTU 2018 examination is conducted by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University and it is a state level examination conducted every year in April.The UPTU 2018 examination enables candidates to get admissions for bachelors and masters programs in UP.
Admissions: UPSEE is used for admissions to 785 institutes of Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).
Controlled By: This state entrance exam is supervised and controlled by the Central Admission Board (CAB).

UPSEE Negative marking: Change in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination pattern has made the students have a mixed reaction to the test, the commission has decided to implement the system of Negative marking in its examination.
New marking system: It will implement this new marking system in the upcoming recruitment examination.
Payment online: Payment for the exam will be processed will be online at this important Institution.
Permanent residents: The candidates who are permanent residents of UP are eligible to answer the exam. There is no age limit specified to take up the exam.For candidates applying for the UG programs, the eligibility criteria require them to complete class 12 with 45 % minimum marks.
Qualification: Candidates need to qualified 10+2 examination to be eligible for undergraduate courses and for postgraduate courses candidates need to have a bachelor's degree.

Availability of Form: The application form is available online on the official website through which the candidates can apply for the exam.
Aadhaar Card is mandatory: Aadhaar card has been made compulsory for applying for UPSEE.
Filling application form: The process of applying for the exam is simple and requires the candidates to fill in personal details and upload the scanned copies of the candidate's photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
Mode of the exam: The UPSEE exam is an offline or a pen and paper exam.
Objective Type Format: The UPSEE 2018 exam paper will have questions in multiple choice objective type format.

Information on hall ticket: UPSEE 2018 admit card contains the information such as candidate's name, age, Exam centre, course applied for, date of exam and other information.
Issued: Admit card will be issued only to those candidates who have completed the application procedure properly.
Opt an Exam Centre: Candidates can opt for an exam center which is convenient to him or her while filling the application form online.
Total exam centres: There are 39 exam centers in U.P and 8 exam centers outside U.P and the candidates can choose an Exam Centre in UP or outside UP.
Results will be uploaded online: The results will be uploaded to the official website for the exam.
Access the results: The candidates can access their results by entering the Roll numbers and their birthdate in the link for the results.
MBA seat: There are 65% available seats for MBA and 85% for the remaining courses.
Eliminate seats which filled by CMAT: These seats are available after eliminating 20% of the seats which are to be filled by the CMAT 2018.
Selection process/CEE: The selection process to the same is through the UPTU 2018 common entrance examination.

Availability of UPSEE/UPTU application: The candidates can access the application form for the UPSEE/UPTU exam from 20th January 2018 to 20th March 2018 on the official website.
Rectification of the UPSEE/UPTU application: The aspiring candidates can modify the details filled in the online application form in case of discrepancies between March 28 to 30, 2018.
Availability of the UPSEE/UPTU admit card: The examination authority uploads the admit card on the online website.The candidates can avail the same from 5th April 2018.
Exam Date of UPSEE/UPTU: The UPSEE/UPTU exam, will be held from 22nd April 2018.
Results for UPSEE/UPTU: The results of UPSEE/UPTU will be announced on the official website on 29th May 2018.
The first round of UPSEE/UPTU Counselling: The counseling sessions will begin on June 24, 2018.
End of the UPSEE/UPTU registration: The last date for the registration of the document verification after the first round of counselling of the UPSEE/UPTU exams ends on June 29, 2018.
Document verification: The document verification after first round of counselling, will happen between June 25 to June 30, 2018
Seat Allotment: Post the document verification, the candidates are allotted the seats based on their ranks on July 3, 2018
Second round of the UPSEE/UPTU Counselling: The second round of counselling for the UPSEE/UPTU exam will be held on July 6, 2018
End of the UPSEE/UPTU registration: The last date for the candidates to register for the document verification is July 7, 2018
Document verification: The document verification process for the candidates who have participated in the second round of counselling will take place between July 7 to July 8, 2018.
Seat allotment: After the document verification of the candidates who participated in the second round of counselling, the seats for these candidates are allotted on July 11, 2018.
The third round of the UPSEE/UPTU counselling: The third round of counselling for the shortlisted candidates in the UPSEE/UPTU exam will be on July 14, 2018.
End of the UPSEE/UPTU registration: The last date for the registration for the document verification is on July 15, 2018.
Document verification: The document verification for the candidates who participated in the third round of the counselling of UPSEE/UPTU will take place between July 15 to July 16, 2018.
Seat Allotment: After the document verification process, the seat allotment will be held on July 19, 2018.
The fourth round of the UPSEE/UPTU counselling: The fourth round of counselling for the UPSEE/UPTU will take place from July 22, 2018.
End of registration: The last date for the candidates to register themselves for the document verification of July 24, 2018.
Document verification: The document verification for the candidates who participated in the fourth round of counselling will take place between July 23 to July 25, 2018
Seat allotment: The seat allotment for these candidates will take place on July 28, 2018.
Availability of the UPSEE/UPTU allotment letter: After the four rounds of counselling, the allotment letter for the candidates will be held in between July 28 to July 30, 2018.
Allotment of the institutes: The candidates will be allotted the institutes based on the counselling round between July 28 to July 30, 2018.
The final result of the UPSEE/UPTU: The final result of UPSEE/UPTU will be announced on August 30, 2018.
Eligibility: Candidates applying for the exam to get admission into B.Tech course, should belong from UP or any state. NRIs candidates are also eligible.
No age limit is imposed for the candidates who wish to apply for UPSEE/UPTU.
Education: The aspiring candidates for B.Tech course through UPSEE/UPTU exam should have secured a minimum of 45% marks in Class 12 exam or an equivalent exam.
Subjects: Physics and Mathematics must be compulsorily studied by the candidates in their Class 12.
Eligibility: Candidate applying for MBA through UPSEE/UPTU should be from the state of UP or any other state.
Education: Minimum 50% in the Bachelor's degree from a recognized University.
UPSEE/ UPTU application form will be available online and the candidates have to apply only through the online mode.
UPSEE/UPTU application form will be available from February 24th until March 27th on the official exam website.
The candidate applying for UPSEE/UPTU has to fill his/her personal, academic and communication details in the form.
The candidates are required to upload the scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
The candidates will have to fill their preferred Exam centre in the application form.
Once all the information is filled in by the candidates, they should re-check the information filled and then submit the form on the UPSEE/UPTU website.
Registration: Registration for the UPSEE/UPTU will be done only through the online application form.
Filling up the form: The candidate has to fill the UPSEE/UPTU application form from the official website.
Availability: The UPSEE/UPTU application form will be available on the website from February 24, 2018.
Upload details: The candidates registering for the exam have to upload the scanned photograph, signature, and thumb impression of specified dimension and file size.
Submission date: The last date to submit the UPSEE/UPTU application form is March 28, 2018.
Rectification: Rectification of the UPSEE/UPTU application form can be done between March 28 to 30, 2018.
Payment mode: Payment for the UPSEE/UPTU can be done through the online modes of payment such as Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking.
Fee: For general, OBC and male/transgender candidates have to pay the application fee of INR 1,000.For females and other reserved candidates, the application fee payable is INR 500.
Reservations: The candidates can refer to the official website for more information on the reservation of seats under the UPSEE/UPTU for various category of candidates.
Availability of UPSEE/UPTU Admit card will be online and through the official website.
The admit card for UPSEE/UPTU will available from 5th April 2018.
Candidate accessing the UPSEE/UPTU admit card is required to enter the application number and the password in order to access the admit card on the official website.
The candidates can then download and print the UPSEE/UPTU Admit card and can retain the admit card until the seats are allotted.
The candidate has to carry two passport size photographs.

UPSEE/UPTU exam includes twelve papers and the number of question papers answerable by the candidates varies according to the eligibility of the candidates and the course they want to appear.The following are the twelve papers of the UPSEE/UPTU exam:
Paper 1 and 2: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology(if required)
Paper 3: Agricultural physics and chemistry, agricultural engineering and statistics and agronomy and agricultural botany
Paper 4: Mathematics and Drawing Aptitude.
Paper 5: Reasoning and logical deduction, numerical ability and scientific aptitude, General Knowledge and English.
Paper 6 and 7: Aptitude test for Diploma holders.
Paper 8 to 12: Aptitude test for the relevant examination.
The UPSEE/UPTU exam will be an offline exam.
Language: The question paper will be in Hindi/English.
There is no negative marking for the UPSEE/UPTU exam.

The UPSEE/UPTU results will be declared on 29th May 2018, on the official website.
In order to access the results, the candidates will have to login on the results link on the UPSEE/UPTU website.
The candidates will then have to fill in their roll number and their date of birth.
The results are then accessible and can also be downloaded from the link.
The examination authority uploads on the official website, separate merit lists on the basis of performance in the UPSEE/UPTU exam.
Revaluation of the UPSEE/UPTU answer sheet will be done within 7 days of the results being declared.
The UPSEE/UPTU candidates shortlisted will have to apply for the counselling sessions.
The UPSEE/UPTU Counselling will happen in four rounds.
First round of Counseling for UPSEE/UPTU:
