Eligibility Criteria for UPSEE

Educational Qualification
Completed or pursuing 10+2 or equivalent examination for Under Graduate courses and completed or pursuing Graduation degree for Post Graduate courses.
Age
No age limit.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSEE 2018:

UPSEE 2018 information about Eligibility: 

  • Nationality: Candidates must be permanent citizens of UP or any other state to be eligible to appear for UPSEE 2018, NRI/FN/PIO candidates are eligible to apply.
  • No age limit: There is no age limit specified for candidates to be eligible.

  • HSC level: The eligibility to appear for UPSEE is the 12th level examination or its equivalent thereof and securing minimum 45% marks in aggregate in the required three subjects without grace.

  • Subjects: Physics and Mathematics must have been the main subjects of the candidate to be eligible to appear UPSEE 2018.


Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech:

  • Eligibility based on Category: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 without grace with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.

  • Main Subjects: The candidate must have Physics & Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects and anyone from Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.


Eligibility Criteria for Bio- Technology:

  • Aggregate marks: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 without grace with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.

  • Mandatory Subjects: The candidate must have Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and anyone from Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Technical Vocational subject.


Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch:

  • B.Arch Category wise aggregate: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 without grace with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects.
  • B.Arch main subjects: The candidate must have Physics & Mathematics as a compulsory subject and anyone from Chemistry/ Engineering Drawing /Biology/Computer Science/Technical Vocational subject.


Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering):

  • B.tech (A.E) Category wise marks: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 without grace with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects. Candidates who are eligible for B.Tech, are eligible for this course as well.


Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm:

  • Education and subject: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 without grace with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects. The candidate must have Physics & Mathematics/ Biology as compulsory subjects and anyone from Chemistry/ Bio-Technology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.


Eligibility Criteria for MBA: 

  • Undergraduate is mandatory: Obtained a 3 year Bachelor degree from a recognized University/equivalent/A.I.U University to be eligible.

  • Minimum marks: Should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates) in the degree program to satisfy the eligibility criteria.

  • Main Subject in HSC: Must have studied and cleared Mathematics subject in Class 12 or Graduation level to be eligible.

  • Other Courses: All candidates who are eligible for B.Tech are also eligible for B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) and B.Tech (Biotechnology).


Eligibility criteria for NRI Candidates:

Eligible Exams: The candidate must have qualified CMAT/CAT/MAT to be eligible, and must have secured the minimum of 50% aggregate marks without grace marks in the degree program from any recognized university.

  • Admission Eligibility of B.tech: Admission to the first year of B.Tech./ B.Pharm., the candidate must have clearly passed the intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate in required three subjects or he is not eligible.

  • Admission Eligibility of BMHCT: Admission to the first year of BHMCT/BFAD/BFA, the candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognised Board / University and securing minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in aggregate to be eligible.

For admission to MBA, the candidate should have satisfied the following eligibility criteria:

  • If the candidate belongs to any of the categories mentioned above, it would be suitable to produce a caste certificate as eligible for reserved seats. The reservation for seats include: 21% for scheduled caste of UP, 2% for scheduled tribe of UP, and 37% for other backward classes of UP.
