WBJEE 2018 Application Process:

Availability of Application for WBJEE 2018:

The application form for WBJEE 2018 would begin starting from 2nd January 2018. The eligible candidates can log in to the official website and click on “Apply Online”. The process of application will begin on 2nd January 2018  and go on until 3rd February 2018. 

Application Procedure for WBJEE 2018:

Step 1: Aspirants can visit the official website of WBJEE. 

Step 2: Candidates have to click on the relevant application form link and should click on "Proceed to apply online".


Step 3: Then, the candidate should enter the registration details such as name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID etc. Then, candidates have to choose a password and security question/answer. Ater filling the registration details, an SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate. After this step, candidates can either log out or continue to the next step. 


 Important Note:

  • No one can change any details in the application form without knowing the password. Hence, candidates should not share their password with anyone. 
  • Candidate should not forget the password and security question/answer as there is no way to recover it again. 
  • The details should match with the 10th-grade marks card and other certificates. 

Step 4: In the next step, candidates have to upload scanned images of their recent color photograph, signature and left thumb impression. 



  • The specifications of the images should be exactly the same as mentioned in the "Application Form Details."
  • Candidates will be receiving an SMS if the images are not uploaded correctly and the candidates will have to upload the images as per the specifications. 

Step 5: The next step involves payment of examination fees. The examination fees can be paid via Debit card/credit card/net banking. candidates can also pay through cash by Allahabad Bank E-challan.


The examination fees cannot be refunded under any circumstances. 

Step 6: After the examination fee is paid, candidates will be directed to the confirmation page. The candidates have to download and print the confirmation page. After the confirmation page is received, it can be assumed that the application of the candidate is completed and accepted. 

Important Notes:

  • Only those candidates who possess a domicile of West Bengal can claim reservation for the WBJEE 2018
  • Different rules regarding WBJEE 2018 Reservation are applicable for different universities and institutes. The reservation details can be availed from the Merit List generated after the examinations.
  • The matters pertaining to the JECA- 2018 falls under the jurisdiction of Kolkata.
  • Aspirants should be having a valid mobile number and email before applying for the examination.
