Application Process for WBJEE 2018:

The application form is categorized into three sections:

  • Personal details
  • Upload images
  • Fee payment details

Personal details:

  • Aspirants who are interested to take up WBJEE 2018 can go to the official website of WBJEE. 


  • In the next step, aspirants have to go through the relevant application form link and should click on "Proceed to apply online".

  • After clicking on "Proceed to apply online", an application form will appear on the page. Candidates will have to enter their name, father's name and other details. The password and security question/answer.


 

  • After the completion of entering the details, candidates have to click on "submit".
  • The candidates will be receiving an SMS to the mobile number given/registered by them. 
  • After receiving an SMS, candidates can either continue with the next step or log out. 

Notes:

  • The details of the application form cannot be changed by anyone. 
  • Candidates should not leak their password and security question/answer to anyone for security reasons. 
  • The password and security question/answer should be preserved as they cannot be recovered or regenerated by the candidates. 
  • The details mentioned should be matching with the marks cards and other documents. 

Upload Images:

  • After submitting the application form, candidates have to submit scanned copies of their photograph, signature and left thumbprint impression.

 


Fee payment:

  • The next step after uploading the images is to pay the fees for the examination. 


 

  • The candidate has to go to the home page of the official website of WBJEE and click on "Fee payment".
  • Then the candidates have to select a mode of payment and click on "Proceed for payment"

 


The candidate has to pay the application fee, corresponding to the type of application. The fee candidates have to pay is mentioned below:

  • After the payment is done, candidates are redirected to a confirmation page. The confirmation page should be downloaded and printed by the candidates. Candidates can assume that the application procedure is completed and accepted after receiving the confirmation page. If the candidates are unable to get the confirmation then it means the application of the candidate is not completed or accepted.


 Notes:

  • Only those candidates who possess a domicile of West Bengal can claim reservation for the WBJEE 2018
  • Different rules regarding WBJEE 2018 Reservation are applicable for different universities and institutes. The reservation details can be availed from the Merit List generated after the examinations.
  • Candidate must fill the application and submit his/her personal details, the system generates a unique 7-digit numeric application number for that particular candidate. Once a WBJEE Application Number is generated, the candidate is allowed to log out of the current system.
  • The candidates are advised to use this system generated Application Number along with his/her date of birth for any future login to the system. So, it is important that the candidate store his/her application number accurately.

  • Visit the official website and fill in your personal, academic and communication details.
  • Choose your preferred exam centre.
  • Choose your question paper medium and complete details about your family background.
  • Check the information you entered once again and then click the Final Submit button.
  • Uploading of images which include thumb impression, signature, and photograph
  • Click on the "upload photograph" and browse your computer to upload a photograph. The photograph must be in JPEG format, should not be larger than 100 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
  • Click on the blank area to upload signature and browse your computer. The signature should be in JPEG format, the file size should not be larger than 30 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
  • Click on the blank area to upload the left-hand thumb impression. The thumb impression should be in JPEG format, its size should not be larger than 30 kb and its dimensions should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
  • Candidates can choose the mode of payment amongst Debit Card/ Credit Card or through e-challan.
  • The application fees are based on the exam centre and vary according to the mode you choose.
  • Click on ‘Pay Now’.
  • Note the transaction number and take multiple copies of the confirmation page.
