Grandiosity: XAT 2019 is one of the oldest competitive examinations in the country that has always kept pace with the cutting edge testing methodology. XAT score is being used by more than 150 institutes for admissions, including the prestigious XLRI and other associated institutes. Frequency: The XAT 2019 Exam is conducted once every year. The XAT 2019 Exam is usually conducted in the month of January. More than 100,000 students appear for XAT every year.

XAT 2019 MBA Entrance Exam results are expected to release in the fourth week of January.

Age Criteria: There is no age limit for candidates who apply for XAT 2019 Examination.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent from a recognized authority in any discipline. Final year students who are yet to complete their course can also apply for XAT 2019

Availability: The conducting authority XLRI will release the XAT 2019 application form on 16th August 2018. Eligible candidates must start applying before the deadline in its official login ID.
Process: The candidates are required to enter all the details such as personal details, academic details and upload the scanned copies of the photograph, signature in the XAT 2019 application form. Candidates should also apply to each institute under XAT 2019 and their respective courses

Mode: The XAT 2019 was conducted offline till 2017. XAT 2019 mode of examination is online(Computer based). The number of questions coming in XAT varies every year and isn't fixed.
Marking Scheme: Each correct answer fetches 1 mark and ¼mark is deducted for every wrong answer. More than 8 unattempted questions will result in the deduction of 0.05 marks in XAT 2019. After the objective exam, there is another section, consisting of Essay and GK, which spans over 40 minutes. However, there are no negative marks for General Knowledge.

Source: The XAT 2019 admit card usually gets released in December. The candidate can visit the official website of XAT 2019 to download the admit card using their login credentials.

Procedure: The XAT 2019 counselling session will consist of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. After this, the merit list will be displayed on the website. Based on the merit list and availability of seats, candidates are converted to various programmes under XAT 2019.

XAT 2019 exam date: The XAT 2019 exam will be held on 6th January 2019

Age Bar: There is no age bar for taking the XAT exam.
A. Completed Bachelor’s degree, or
B. Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA), or

SC/ST: The candidate must score a minimum of 50% in their graduation. However, there is 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and Physically Handicapped Classes.
NRI candidates: Candidate from NRI and FOREIGN countries need to submit their GMAT scores to eligible admission no need to take XAT examination.
Marks: The candidate has to obtain at least 50% marks in their graduation to eligible for XAT 2019 examination.
Eligibility: There is separate quota available for reserved candidates(ST/SC/OBC) and even 5% relaxation on marks eligibility.
Candidates who satisfy the Eligibility Criteria must proceed with Application Process on the Website for XAT 2019.

After click on submit a provisional XAT ID and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen and also email is sent to candidates.

Application Fee: The application fee is INR 1,600. The cost of application per course is INR 300. The cost of application with late fee is INR 2,000. The cost of application per course with late fee is INR 500.
Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid using net banking, cash, demand draft, debit card or credit card. In case of payment via cash or demand draft, a printout of the pay-in-slip for XAT must be taken and the fee must be remitted to any IDBI bank branch.

Time duration: The time duration for XAT will be 170 minutes.
Marking Scheme: Every correct answer will fetch the candidate 1 mark and there will be negative marking of 1/4 mark for every wrong answer. There will be no negative marking for an essay and general knowledge questions.

Result Date: The XAT 2019 results will be out on 31st January 2019.

Moreover, candidates also have to appear for an interview, to finally book thier seats for the said course.
For eligibility you have to score above 60% in graduation and then by showing the score card of any management entrance exam like CMAT, MAT, CAT, XAT in which the clearing score of every entrance exam are different in msrim .For example for CMAT you have to score more than 60% for MSRIM.
