Eligibility Criteria for XAT 2018

  • Candidates should have a minimum Eligibility Criteria Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent from a recognized authority in any discipline.
  • Candidates appearing in the final year exam of their Under Graduate Course are also eligible to appear for XAT 2018.
  • The candidate must have scored at least 50 percent marks in their graduation degree to satisfy the eligibility criteria for XAT 2018.
  • There is no age limit for taking XAT for admission into XLRI and allied institutes.
  • NRI and Foreign Candidates are also eligible to apply on the basis of the GMAT Scorecard (except Dubai and Kathmandu candidates).
  • There is a quota system for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs as well as Physically Handicapped Classes. There is a 5 percent relaxation in the marks eligibility department for XAT 2018.
  • For XAT 2018 examination, there is no specific allocation of seats in terms of numbers for the reserved categories of candidates.
  • Provided that the candidate can provide proof of having passed their graduation exam by June 10, 2018 to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates will be eligible to take XAT 2018 even when in the final year of graduation.

Age
There is no age limit for XAT entrance examination.
Educational Qualification
You should pass your Bachelor's degree(minimum 3 years duration) with a minimum 50% aggregate or you need to be in the final year exam of your Under Graduate Course to get eligible for XAT Exam.
Domicile / Reservation
If you belongs to reserved category, 5% relaxation in aggregate will be provided to you
Exceptions
If you are an NRI or a Foreign Candidates, you are eligible to apply on the basis of your GMAT Scorecard.

XAT score is accepted to get admission in a total of 11 XAT Member Institutes for their respective courses. Since XLRI is the conducting body of XAT examinations, so the candidates can apply for the admission in the institute.

  • Candidate should have obtained Bachelor’s Degree with minimum three years or an equivalent of any discipline. Those who are in final year completing their final examination by June 10, 2017, can also apply.
  • All Indian Candidates can appear for XAT 2017. However, NRI and Foreign candidates can also apply through GMAT score with exceptions of Dubai and Kathmandu, wherein candidates also have an option of appearing through XAT 2017.
